Tim Miller/Equusearch is located not too far from the city where I live and so when he got involved in the searches we got a little more info. That poor man, I am just a little older than his daughter (would be now) and I remember when she went missing and then when they found her a couple of years later in an area they call the "killing fields" here. He has been working at finding kids ever since, but I have my doubts that Caylee's body will ever be found. It's sad that Larry King, with his national audience, couldn't pull more compelling questions out of his *** for these grandparents. They have also been on the morning talk shows where the interviews have been semi softball. I have a few questions about this case. First, how is her attorney being paid and how did she find him? He wasn't a high profile attorney and he wasn't exactly that close to her house. Why the heck didn't the parents call CPS or someone on Casey long before an entire month had passed and how could she have lived with them for so long without really having a job and they didn't know? I mean they have a really small house, were they just that clueless as to what she was doing? And where the heck has her brother Lee gone? He's another weird one and that "code" he and Casey talk in - strange! I mean who names their child with a combination of their own name and their brother's name? CAY - LEE Something strange there. Anyway, the trial has been scheduled for early January, not seeking the death penalty and there are reports the defense will file a delay in the start of the trial. Have you heard anything on local news about when this goes to trial will it be televised? I would love to watch it - Jose Baez keeps saying that Casey will tell the truth about what really is going on when it comes to trial. Is he really going to put her on the stand? She's a whackjob that loves the attention, it would be so dramatic and full of lies.
LLL, I don't know how they came up with their lawyer for her. He's a small town lawyer in Kissimmee, 45 minutes from downtown Orlando, and I'm sure for the murder trial he will need to bring in someone with a lot more experience in criminal law and murder trials to help handle the trial portion of the case.
Mark NeJame, a high-profile criminal lawyer in Orlando, excellent attorney, took on the Anthonys to help them navigate what was going on, because they were being harrassed at their home nonstop and deciding upon who to give interviews to and so forth. I'm sure there was no charge b/c he takes on cases like that for national exposure sometimes. But he withdrew b/c, basically, he could not control the Anthonys. They kept saying anything they wanted to and wouldn't take guidance. So he withdrew.
The same thing with Tim Miller, the man you're talking about. He withdrew in disgust. He brought a lot of manpower down here searching; but it was obvious it should be a recovery search of a body and the Anthonys refused to cooperate with him anymore.
The sheriff is coming out to address the news media right now to make a statement. Skull found near bag of remains.
