I have it on good authority, Journey will be playing the pre-superbowl show. They will play an hour long set with one song being broadcast.

I heard the same thing and was wondering if the San Diego show with Lani would be cancelled because it's gonna be hard for Arnel to be inn San Diego and Miami on the same day!!! Look for that cancellation as 100% confirmation that it's happening. At any rate, Stu is as good a source for this stuff as anyone. Some people here know his long-standing relationship with the band, and more specifically, one member.

I'm loving NWA right now.
The driving urgency of the song, the bass tempo changes Valory uses to take the verses up the ascending staircase of intensity with the band following... what a tune.

Let's not get carried away. This isn't the halftime show. If they can only air one song on T.V., I really hope it's NWA. If it's a Perry era song, they will have truly proven that they are stuck in the shadow of the past. Like SJ said though, they might not have any say in the matter.
