Mine is for Journey to perform in Australia, at a show I can get to, and for Steve Perry to definately confirm a new original album is in the works.

Wouldn't mind hearing that some of the big label execs have grown a braincell when it comes to promoting good music either

Let's get it over with and say 'Steve Perry back with Journey, a new album and on tour'!
Realistically, my first wish is that Journey performs in Calgary or Vancouver so I can more reasonably afford to
go see them, and good seats! Truth be told, I'm going whether I can afford it or not - I've never seen Journey
perform live and I am not missing out on their next tour. Same for Steve Perry - if he performs live, I'll
fly anywhere and I hope there is a new CD in the works. It's time Neal put out a new solo CD with his
own vocals too. I love 'Beyond the Thunder' and 'Voice', but when I finally heard 'Late Nite' I wondered why
he doesn't sing more often - I'll take him over Clapton or Santana any day. In another thread I said that I
would like Mutt Lange to collaborate on and produce the next Journey CD in 2009.
I would also love to experience Springsteen live, so I hope he tours this year. Shania is writing for a new CD,
but I'm not sure if the release date is this year - I also want to see her perform live.
One more thing. Wouldn't it be great to find an amazing new band this year and get to follow their evolution
from the beginning? Many here were able to do that with Journey and I think they were very lucky,
heartbreak and all.
