AP just gave the Plokkers the news about 30 minutes ago that he and his long-time girlfriend Cherry have TIED THE KNOT! He didn't mention the specific date, but someone believes that they were married on December 24th.

WAY TO GO, AP! Congrats, and our best wishes to you both in 2009 and for many many years to come.

Sherri, in the ShoutBox on Arnel's site he will visit from time to time and the fans that are always in there are called plokkers. I think I read it's because of the sound it makes while they're talking, the clicking. On his site, you can see a screen where they're in there and there is a noise when they're writing. Ripp would know the answer better. He goes in there.

A Plokker is a chat participant at the AP Site (sending a message to the Shout Box goes with a popping sound...sort of "plok")

The AP site also recognizes the "Lurkers" who watch but don't engage in the conversation.

Thanks for the information! I had heard the phrase in some other threads too and wondered - first time a
Google search failed. It's great that Arnel acknowledges and appreciates the fans. I checked out
the website for his foundation and he is obviously a wonderful individual - despite how overwhelming it must have
been to join Journey and tour exhaustively, he made setting up his foundation and helping children a priority.

I am curious to know what nickname the band has for some of the posters on this forum

Didn't someone think to tell Arnel, it might be better to lease, rather then to own?
