Fuck the moronic BCS! Utah is the number one team in the country, period, end of story! This season is just one more illustration just how fucking stupid the BCS is. There is only one single undefeated team in the country and they're not even playing in so-called "National Championship". Utah defeated four top 25 teams over the course of their season and thumped the team that was number one for 5 straight weeks. Regardless of which school you happen to root for will never change what a complete fucking embarrassment this is. I hope some of the writers step up and do the right thing and vote Utah number one. Maybe that will finally be the catalyst for the BCS to get their heads out of their ass and put together a long overdue playoff system! Only then will college football ever have any legitimacy. Until that time, it will never be a real game. There is no other game that doesn't allow it's champion to be decided on the field. As someone who has played and coached football for most of my life, I can tell you that I've never watched the "National Championship" game in my life, because it's completely meaningless and I don't find anything about it (regardless of which two teams the BCS computer says should play) remotely compelling.

Of course you do...You're from a state that it's a pretty big deal in. The problem with college football is that there are many football fans who really don't give a shit. College football has FAR more fans who have an allegiance to a particular school than who are pure football fans. Football is a GREAT game and I believe college football should do a better job of attracting fans who actually enjoy the game and don't particularly care about the schools involved. The reality is that most people over the age of 25 care more about the competiive nature and legitimacy of competition than what school colors a team is wearing. College football will remain a complete joke until they fix their DISASTER of a system. Most of us have seen all the "Poulan Weed Eater" bowls we ever care to see!
