--Need Help,Going To Do A CD With Photos And Got Questions.....

i got a photo album full of 4x6 regular size pictures and i'm wondering something because i've heard it can be done.if you have a scanner can you put your photos on a CD and then add music to the CD so you can view your pictures on the CD and have music on it too? if so what program do you do this with.i also have CD's that are 700MB and i'm wondering how many pictures you can fit on one of these CD's.

Download Photostory 3 for Windows , it's free. You'll need to import your project to burning software later, which I'm going to assume you have, or you can use Windows Movie Maker to do the whole project. There are other solutions out there but this is the cheapest and easiest way I can think of.

The Photosmart program will probably still run so you can try to install it but you've got Movie Maker already installed in Vista.
Here are links to tons of tutorials on the program

Magix makes a program I use called Pictures To DVD (or something along those lines).

I have constructed extensive "slideshows" completely synched to music. It has a built-in photo editor and allows you TONS of options for transitions, fade-ins, voice overs, text overs, etc.

All of this gets directly burned to either CD or DVD so it can be played directly in your DVD player on your TV.

Easy. You pack up your shit and move it all to a computer that does not have Vista.

WalMart. Radio Shack is too freakin' high. If it's a USB printer I'm sure WalMart will have it. If it's a parallel, not so sure.

USB Cable looks like this.

Parallel cable looks like this.

Edit: Duh, says USB right there in your post.
