"RockStar" ~ The Movie

Hey there....

I'm watching it right now on E!.

Verrry interesting dynamic between Mark Wahlberg's & Jennifer Aniston's characters
RE: Keeping their relationship on the "right track".

Reminds me of what we all know went down w/ Steve & Sherrie.

Gotta tell ya - if you saw this movie, then you know - but maybe Ms. S. was on to something - trying to keep Steve from that whole scene.....having a separate vehicle, etc.....

If this movie is any kind of "true life diary", if you will, then WOW....

Thoughts?

I had the same thoughts about the separate vehicle and all that jazz. I just kept thinking how Jeremey almost lived this movie with Journey, even down to replacing Jeff Scott Soto's vocals!!

If you didn't know the guy that gets pulled on stage at the end when Walberg walks off stage is Myles Kenndey from Alter Bridge.

Hi, Larry! It's complicated in a family of all guys. Hubby goes and rents "action" movies to watch with the boys ... and expects me to sit in. I hate gun fights ... killing and gore. And, you know, today's movies are not like those in the '80s-'90s, either. The special effects and sound are so realistic ... and LOUD.... scares the bee-jeebers out of me. And watching torture/maiming not my thing. So, I go off and do my own thing ... like scouring the J board on MR ... or listening to Steve sing  .

There are so many movies that people talk about over the years ... like those that get nominated for the Oscars and such ... that I don't even get to see until way old ...

You've met the dude who actually sang Livin' The Life, too. Sorry the sound sucks, but........ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXqz-zSuhxE

I'm absolutely thrilled that both my soul brothers are going to be touring this year and both going to be making full concert dvds! :D

I went into DK cynical as hell about Ledger's allegedly earth shattering performance. His death would obviously lead people to overhype the performance, right? Wrong. Incredible performance.

The first movie I ever saw him in is The Patriot playing Mel's son. Then, that medival Knight & Sword movie, where they had pop music interspersed with the action. Critics panned it as lame, but I thought the movie was entertaining. Then he was in Monster -- another memorable performance. I would like to catch all the movies he did, starting with 10 Things ... which was just a teenybopper movie, right? I heard he was, like, 18 yrs old , just arrived in Hollywood.

Why not? Journey's audience accepted a third singer from YouTube. You might be surprised what crazed fans are willing to accept. Michael Jackson's hardcore fans still think everything he does is godly.

I know ... for a long time, I have been tempted to sign up ... netflix or Blockbusters. Just having dared make the leap. I know ... if I get on a monthly subscription, I'm going to do nothing but sit at home watching movies all day, every day ... I will become a movie-holic, lol.

All I meant was......they were trying to keep their relationship going, away from all of that....they had a separate car away from everybody else....
....and my point is - if what happened in the movie REALLY DOES HAPPEN on the road, then kudos to her for trying to keep him away from all of that.

I was being positive about her.

Sorry if you didn't get that. Have a great day. 8)
