Had to exclude Perry. Wasn't fair, at all.

Sorry for the deletion.

Baggage Boy, are you drunk or did I miss something? Did they fire Pineda?
WTF is this poll?
I am getting trashed. Who's with me?

Let's rip the fucking lid off this place and burn it to the ground!

I'm with you. I have tried to post this poll three times now, and this time I left off Chalfant. It's STILL flawed. I suck.

After I rationalized it and everything? You know how much brain power that required on my part? Fucker.

I HONESTLY believe, that given the circumstances, and everything being 20/20, Jeff was the best move. he is so much more talented and accomplished than anyone else, incl;uding Pineda. Pineda can't wroite a fucking song to save his life.He has the fortunate ability to sound like Perry. Now, I like Pineda a lot. I still think he sings every other comer under the table, including that hack Hugo and Jeremey too, but for talent in writing a song and taking the band, leading the band, which a lead singer does, Jeff is the man, but it's all useless because Neal fucking Schon wants the band to evolve around his prowess, not a singers. Arnel may hit higher notes, and this and that, but he is woeful in terms of professionalism. Look at the Tampa situation. AP screwed the pooch, BIG TIME. Soto would know which is important and what wasn't.
just MY opinion, and frankly, I could give two shits what this washed up band does anyway. They lost all credibility years ago.

He fumbled on the one yard line two weeks ago. He should have been the Halftime show too, right?
The guy is out of his league, period.

He sounded like, well, a karaoke singer. He sucked, big time. And admitted it.

I went to see Jeff and would have again. Could it be that Jeff had talent & drive and Journey singers can't have that anymore ?? He would have contributed to the writing so it wasn't such syrup.

Damn that sucked beyond belief!!!!
He raped that song about as hard as the chick playing at the piano-bar raped "We Will Rock You" on the cruise ship I was on last week.

Since no one else was there. It was bad!!!

It wasn't his best, but it was fine. The crowd loved it. He's done as much as a public apology and that should be enough. Which means he's heard all of you and will step it up, hopefully. Give a motherfucker a break. He killed on the last tour. Everyone here knows he can do the job. Not aiming this at anyone in particular, but everyone. We all know it wasn't his best effort. But when has Journey had a live TV spot that was good?

Pineda.
He has the energy, the charisma, and the voice. If he adds some polish to his priorities and his regimen, he'd be even greater than he already is.
He needs to remember: Journey is his ticket. When it comes to his voice, they righly deserve all of his time and effort.

I think Arnel spends too much time reading internet blogs. He empowers his detractors by making it public that he reads what they say. It's like giving bullets to your assailant. Maybe he'll eventually learn that you can't please everyone so stop trying. When he makes it known his feelings are hurt, there is a small but vocal part of his fan base that goes on a propaganda campaign, belittling other performers to try to elevate AP's own status. This just pisses people off even more and ends up driving longtime Journey fans away from totally embracing him.

I would like someone to tell me where he was bad. I just watched it again for the 100th time, and I just don't see what was so bad. It was pretty fucking good.
Someone dissect it for me, please. I just don't get the criticism.

I agree. I've always said it was a good performance, not his best for sure. I don't get bad either, just like I don't get great from the uber fans.

Arnel would be the one to ask, as he admitted being not satisfied with his performance either. Since he obviously reads here, maybe he can come in and break down the flaws that he himself realised after viewing the tape afterwards.

GB, great points.
Also, the other video with better sound is a lot better than the one above.
