I would expect that the summer dates are within weeks of being announced. Any news on who they would share the bill with?

I don't see anything in Bryan Adams' touring plans that would eliminate him from a potential tour with Journey. In fact, that's who I've heard is opening for Journey.

Yeah, in small HOB type venues. Not in the types of venues they were playing last summer. People won't pay that kind of money for one band.

I wouldn't expect tour dates for another month. If they tour with Bryan Adams, I would think it would be co-Headliners. Can they play on their own? Sure, if it's fucking San Jose, or some other hub of Filipino populace areas and we're still not talking Staple center crowds. As far a doing a nationwide tour by themselves, only if they don't mind playing in HOB size venues.

OT- There were some lyrics leaked on line off their next release, by the way. Check this out.
From Arnel and the J-boyz' new album, tentively titled, That's how we roll yo

SOD Money J-boyz freestyle

SOD Money Gang Bang (bang Bang) Jboyz tellem I did this for
That sod money gang representin that we takin over everything
Know what I'm saying get with it or get lost baby(baby baby)

[Chorus:]

Deck sod money gang demand our respect SOSODSODSOSODSOD

[J-Boyz:]

I demand my respect so I do it foe the fans J-boyz so fly he can
Drive with no hands I write my own raps so I don't care if they
On strike J-boyz I'm so rich that I valet park my bike(dammnn) J-boyz

Yes he did open for Journey, however opening for Arnel and the J-Boyzzzzzzzzzz may be a different story. It could happen though. Look at Journey, I didn't expect to see them opening for Def Leppard again but it looks like they are at the Dublin show.
Bryan Adams has fallen down the food chain pretty far here in the states so anything's possible.

That's HOT....now where does Neal's solo come in??? Maybe they can just sample some of Journey's older hits somewhere in the mix.

I thought he softened a little bit on that stance. I thought he said that BA would open for Journey in the States, but it would be the other way around overseas.

From what I hear it will be a a late summer/fall tour. I haven't heard anything about who a supporting act will be at this point.

I thought Arnel couldn't sing in cold weather. What defines Fall?

Just sign on with Foreigner and be done with it.

Didn't they bail on Foreigner last year when they canceled the Fall dates?

Yes. The dates weren't set in stone, but that's who they were going to tour with if they added a month of fall shows.

But a Foreigner / Bryan Adams / Journey summer bill would kick ass.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I assume they'll be overseas doing festivals in the summer, then. I wonder if this opens up the winter for recording a new album?

Here in the states Bryan Adams would be hands down an opening act/special guest for Journey. Bryan Adams was not even close to the popularity, fanbase, and recognition as Journey in the United States. Bryan Adams may be bigger in places like Ireland.

I thought I read where they still had a U.K. date in July so I think you are correct.

I'd pay top dollar for that show! Hopefully, that's how it goes down if they have to tour with anyone.

Oh, god please no... not Foreigner. Worst band I've seen live more than once. Their songs are just so dated, and they are BORING in concert. I will admit, however, that the most recent lineup, with Kelly Hansen and Jason Bonham, was the best of the three shows I've seen them do.

Well,if I may add my two cents!
I heard that Journey will be touring this summer with Queen!
WE shall see!

Give Brian's harsh words concerning the JSS debacle, this would feel equivelant to the Def Leppard/Poison gig!

And to be fair, it's Queen with Paul Rodgers. This is not Queen!
