Nice job Dodd you simpering idiot.
Dodd said he faced outside pressure (i.e. Geithner).
It was either add the loophole or lose the amendement altogether.
Obama's campaign was swimming in Wall Street cash.
Seems its time to grease the paymasters.
I don't even care that he is a Democrat...He could be a Republican...it wouldn't matter...and the idiots on both sides who allowed that to get through need to go too.
Also, who care what the outside pressure it, especially coming from the executive branch...the Congress is supposed to write the laws...not the the executive.
Geithner is a first class idiot too...and yes you can point out Bush's man was no better...but that was then...this is now...Geithner is a moron, and his tax cheating ass needs to go too.
I wish we could trust the people we elect, but it is more and more obvious we can't.
So now, unless the pass some ex post facto law, which will be struck down as unconstitutional on any appeal, we are forced to allow AIG to pay out our money to the very people who helped AIG fail!
I am so sick of the politicians...give me a STATESMAN or STATESWOMAN who is feels they are beholden to the PEOPLE not just the people with money, and be he/she a democrat or republican I would back them to the ends of the earth!
