this 1983 album came at a time when the band was red hot and coming off its best selling album yet.it includes a lot of good material and was the last album with the classic lineup until thirteen years later when they reunited.

my favorites are chain reaction and rubicon.

First concert I ever attended. I was entranced, and became a die hard fan that very day.

I liked their music before but went home hard of hearing for three days, but wanted to know everything about this great band. They put on a terrific show.

Screamed till I couldn't talk any more. I am not moved that much by any other band. And I have seen some great bands since.

Frountiers was a rockier show. Pyrotechnics the works! The songs were beautifully played and sung. I can say that was one of the best times of my whole life.........I have great memories. :D

Most people seem to forget that this album originally had a really muddy production. It has been cleaned up somewhat with the remasters, but it sonically it sounded like shit at the time.

Awesome Journey album! Its to bad they pulled "Only the young" and "Ask they lonely" from the album, man that would have been a potentially huge seller. Ask the lonely should have been a top ten hit along with only the young. My favorites off this album: "Send her my love", "Faithfully", "Seperate ways", and "Rubicon"..."After the fall" is also a pretty good tune too.

Hell yeah! Love "Ask the Lonely". "After the Fall", "Separate Ways", and "Send Her My Love" are my faves too. If they'd kept "Only the Young" and "Ask the Lonely" it would have been a MONSTER album. Ah, well...live and learn, eh?

Great album, but I remember hearing the whole album on the radio before it was released. My first reaction was not positive. I wondered why Perry's voice sounded raspier and the whole album had a darker feeling to it than E5C4P3. It grew on me quickly though.
