Album comes out on June 5. See front page. Good for Lou, here's hoping his voice is coming back into form but I'll get it regardless.

Perry sang, Perry sang?

Good or bad, at least Gramm hasn't been sitting on his butt for years. Here's hoping all the best for him.

Gunbot, you beat me to it. I saw the main page today, and listened to the clips. I had full intentions on posting a thread about it. I was going to say that although his voice has suffered over the years (especially with all of his medical problems), I think it actually sounds a lot better than I was expecting. I'm happy for him, and I'll buy this album the minute it's released! :D

Andrew, I know you didn't like the new sound, but were you basing his voice off of these clips, or were there other clips that you heard? Just curious. I really was expecting it to sound awful, but I can't wait to hear the whole album now. Just wonder if you changed your mind or not?

i'm happy for him...let's hope his voice get better, maybe he will never have the same fantastic voice he use to be..but well at least he is working on music after all his difficulties, so let's wait for this album release!

Love the sound his studio vox have now, if not the lyrical material/content....damn imagine this Gramm voice w/ Foreigner now; shame the guy just can't seem to stand Mick Jones.

GB, who's the current hottie in the av?

On topic, Lou sounds good on those cuts... AND ... less produced than Perry on TBF.

This should send a message to Perry. Don't be afraid of not holding up to past expectations, if you love the music, love to perform, that's all that matters and it will show through in the performance.

In a live setting, Lou's voie no longer holds up. Sad but true. On the record...sounds in better shape, but that's what a studio is for. Make the artists sound the best they can. Better than I expected also, but at the same time, not close to the heyday. Still love my Lou. Legend. One of the all time greats.

Excellent stuff, and reminds me of classic Foreigner! His voice sounds fantastic on these recordings, and I was surprised at the high notes on "Heartache". I'll be buying this as soon as it hits. "If I Don't Have You" is my favorite, and there is a great haunting quality with the vocals.

I see he's playing in Houston, TX on June 20th. I think some of our Texas peeps should cover the event. :)

Giada De Laurentiis, from the food network. She does a lot of the Italian cuisine.

That's Giada De Laurentiis from the Food Network. She's hot...likes to show off her little boobies. The annoying thing though is her mouth - uses too much teeth. (Make up your own jokes.) Seriously, women that smile or laugh with their whole mouths/show too much gum bugs the crap outta me. But she is all that and a bag 'o chips...literally.

later~

Giada in a bikini (with the big teeth smile) and Europe's "Final Countdown" in a Lou Gramm thread. :) Good way to start off the day.

Good for Lou. ALWAYS been one of my all time faves, and a SUPER CLASSY guy too.
Sounds like classic Lou/Foreigner to me, but I'm sure as Andrew said, that they Pro Tooled the hell out of his voice, based on what I've heard in a love setting.
Rock on, Lou and best of luck with the new record!!

Sounds about what I expected.
While I'm not into christian rock, if the hook is there, maybe it's worth a look.

WAIT A SECOND... I thought those three clips were from his upcoming release, but they are from a 1987 solo album called "Ready Or Not". No wonder they sounded so good! Did I miss something, and are there samples of the new stuff?

Ok, that's where I screwed up. I saw the link to Lou's website and followed the link to his MySpace page. The old songs were there. I'll give the new ones a listen.
