Chickenfoot — the supergroup featuring former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani — have announced their first-ever tour dates. The brief U.S. swing leading up to the June 7th release of their self-titled debut album will start May 14th in Seattle, hit the Roxy in Hollywood on May 19th and wrap on May 29th in Philadelphia. Following an early Summer European festival jaunt, they're expected to launch a more substantial Stateside tour. Stay tuned!

yeesh, i told you people about club 1013! earlier today, 13 lucky people got picked to get tix for each of the 9 club shows. the roxy show is gonna be insane. the club is so tiny!

I love the Roxy cause you can get right up to the stage and the guys are singing right over you. I'm sure I'll get a ticket... I just don't want it to be through Barry's tickets (where they will go for uber bucks).

not sure if the roxy will have a will-call only policy for this show to discourage reselling of tix. i know the fillmore sf show is will-call only.

kate i'm sorry you didn't get tickets. there was a glitch in the nyc pre-sale and i wound up having to pay for the fan club 2x in order to get the tickets. they say they are refunding me though. we'll see.

They're saying they'll do bigger arenas after the Europe gigs... but still. the idea of being about 2 feet away from Hagar while he's singing made me goofy. Woof. Ah well... obviously I'm not supposed to blow that money.

I'm sure the band is going to be awesome.....but I wish they would have chosen a different name for their band. All they need now is for Bucket Head and his upside down KFC hat to join the band.
