Sports agents are definitely the scum of the sports world. They seem to care more about their commission than the players they represent.

This story isn't totally accurate. The guy could have gone to the Padres. There trying to paint that part over it seems but the agent was already being pushed out of the picture and the dad was the one not wanting to take the million dollars from Kevin Towers, thinking his son was worth more even though the kid was already losing speed on his pitches.
