I saw this link at Arnels site, followed it to an Scottich station that interviewed Deen in 2008. If you haven't heard it before, enjoy. He touches a little on JSS and Steve Perry but alas, nothing about Steve Augeri.

Journey even messed the title up when they put it in the music player on their site. Maybe they played around with other titles before setling on that one.

Deen talks highly of Steve and Arnel all the time.

I am laughing at the photo on the site!....Deen is not in the picture and neither is AP......man now that's funny!!!

Yes, I know. He has to be diplomatic. I did enjoy the interview though and look forward to a longer set this year. Arnel has eased the pain of the Jeff episode. Love JSS new CD by the way. Nice new direction for him. Everyone seems to have won in the end.

How would you know what he has or has not heard recently about the band? He's still friends w/Soto and others. Don't you think Soto is still in the know when it comes to his ex-bandmates? I'm sure he has no direct contact, but you have no clue what you're talking about!
