WOW! Randy says "America always gets it right" tonight on Larry King with Ryan Seacrest hosting. Randy America doesn't always get it right. Are you nuts? I think Arkansas voted 1/3rd of the total 100 mil votes. Humm.... that means a total 6 million state population DID cover the 1 mil vote differential. TEXT voting makes AI $$$$ and is it all a typical realty show gimmick. People dialing in can't get through for hrs. There is even equiptment that can send 10 texts at a time. That makes AI tons of money. AI is at their end because NOBODY will ever top Adam. Simon said it and he was right. I will only watch the last 2 wks next yr unless there is z buzz for a talent like Adam. Kris will also make it big. Kris does better on piano, but only strums chords on quitar. I have waited for 18yrs for someone to really sing Queen as Freddie. I thought JSS or Geo Michael would have had it by now if ever to get it.

Are you really THAT upset that some people have differing opinions than you?
C'mon now.

This is a good point. Why did they pick up Rodgers in the first place? Drag it out for a few years only to drop him. Mistake from the beginning.
If they don't get JSS or Adam this year, they're done for.

Wow.....you say Adam is the best period and that makes it so huh?
I personally think America did get it right. And alot of people I talked to agree. It wasn't all 'tweens' texting over and over like some would like to think. I work in a hospital and I spoke to several doctors that all said they didn't like Adam. For alot of people, Adam wasn't their cup of tea.
Danny was my favorite and I think after Danny was gone, most of his fans probably shifted their votes to Kris. They have more similar styles than Adam. Adam said as much as well on Larry King.
So, America spoke. And I think they did get it right.

I was very surprised to learn that the Cosmos Rocks only charted at #47 in the US. Must not have been promoted enough.

I'm just waiting for "he who must not be named" to be named in this thread,
just because of Randy Jackson's name being in the topic. (did RJ say anything about S****? Is he recording?" *squeak* ) Hasn't happened yet. The "he who must not..." loons must still be sleeping.

No offense Kelly, but were those doctors doing the voting? Doubtful. I mean come on, when you have 38 million votes coming from an area that has 3 million people, I can't see too many granny's and baby's pumping in the votes.

That's probably true. Either way, all 3 of them will probably do well. I guess we'll see a year from now.

Yeah... America Always Gets it Right.
Two Words:
Taylor Hicks-
Yeah, he's torn up the charts since he won.
Two More:
Ruben Studdard.
Dang, both superstars. We can only aspire...
Journey's got nothing on these multi-talented pioneers of music.
Throw George Bush in there too. Yup, America always gets it right.
Not that I'm anti Kris at all. He's fine, but the other guy had some definite chops and seemed more original than Kris. But Kris is fine.

Throw Obama in there, America always gets it right.
Anyway, it's ok to watch Idol if you're over the age of 15, but not ok to vote. That's just gay.

I think that at least the top 4 will have great careers in music. All will be great in the field of music that they are good at. Adam's is not Kris's nor are both of them Danny's. As Danny told the Fox station in Milwaukee. "Do you think that the fact we didn't win Idol will stop us from having a great career? Of course not." If your an Adam fan, I'm sorry your's didn't win. I am a Danny fan but I do know that Danny will come out with a great CD.

Adam already won bigtime ! He has been asked by both Queen & Kiss to tour. I would rather see him with Queen. See the morning TV shows that Adam was on for his words.

I think Kiss would want him as an opener but doubt Paul Stanley wants Adam stealing what little thunder he has left.
Queen on the other hand probably wouldn't mind if he fronted a tour.
I don't get the George Michael support at all. He can do some ballads but would be dreadful on the rock. That's why I know JSS would be good. Aside from BR, the most popular Queen songs are rock and that's where JSS really shines.
Tie Your Mother Down
Hammer To Fall
I Want It All
and the list goes on.
The fact that Adam's being considered is a huge compliment to him so he's definitely made a name for himself. Interesting that the "winner" of AI isn't being mentioned to front anything.
I don't watch the show 'cept what folks post here so have no idea how Kris got to the finals.

I don't know if they voted or not. I didn't think to ask. I know I voted a few times (OK Ewmatt.....I'm gay I know!!

) I think there may have been alot of suburban housewives that voted for Kris. Not to say the 'tweens' didn't make an impact but I just don't think that was the only reason Kris won. If that is the case....Archuleta would have beaten Cook last year.
I think they will all do well too. They all have great voices.

Agreed!
Hammer To Fall, Radio Gaga and
My Best Friend are 3 of my faves off JSS Queen dvd.

I'm so with you on the Adam doing Queen thing. My, he would be perfect for the lead. I think they should get Adam to be their new front man, nothing against Paul Rodgers, I adore that man, but with the band he use to be with. I think Adam really sounded alot like Freddie.
