This is one of the reasons he can't create a name for himself. He seems to be so ga-ga to front legendary bands and sing their songs instead of his own. He needs to write better songs or get a songwriter partner that will grab people by the balls and get them to ask "Wow! Who the fuck is this singer?".
He needs to be out there. Hit the talk show circuit, hang out w/ legendary producers (exclude Phil Spector), heck -rub elbows with Ellen - Do something!
He does not need Queen and their music.

I think you may have misundertstood him. While he said he would love to front Queen, one of the bands that he grew up listening to, his heros,, and Freddie being his inspiration, he would do it, just like anyone else would take that dream come true opportunity to jam with your "idols", yet he knows that fronting a legendary band is not the answer to his success....
