All I got to say about that this is one word: WRONG. It happened to Adam Lambert and now world sensation Susan Boyle. Seriously, give me 2 reasons why this woman didn't deserve to win this? These voting shows need to be banned. These shows actually limit these peoples talents because it's more of a popularity contest rather than the person most deserving. BTW, she lost to fucking STREET DANCERS. STREET DANCERS!!!!!!!! WRONG.

1) Because she looks like fucking Borat.
2) These shows are gay and create interest by
not picking the most talented person.

Her looking like Freddy Krueger gives her even more reason to win. Adds more to the reason to the show. It's not a beauty contest, it is a talent contest, no?
#2 I agree 100% with.

Dude...it's all about return on investment. Whoever the investors think will give them the most return for their money wins, plain and simple. The only reason Lambert lost is they couldn't risk long term investments (AI cd's) on someone who ultimately didn't connect with their core audience. As soon as those gay pics of Lambert sharing tounges with other men, it was game over. Same with Susan Boyle, obviously she has the most talent, but she's not going to win the hearts long term of their core audience, which is the 13-20 something year olds. No doubt she'll get some kind of deal and come out with a cd. But let's face it, we really don't want to see her in a video do we? Some singers are better left in the studio.

The winners, Diversity, were incredible and deserved to win.

Couldn't agree more! They were fantastic and creative, unlike Susan who just sang the same crappy song again! I have allways thought she was an over-rated bag of shit sheep ipressionist! Diversity deserved to win by a mile! As a singer I don't understand the hype over Susan Boyle. There are thousands of people doing the same thing all over the wolrd, they just don't look like Gordon Brown in a wig!

Why does it always have to be about looks???????????????????????She has a voice of an Angle that is what it is about[ NOT} looks.

Ugly man can sing and you don't say anything...... but let it be a woman and your all over it.
Grow up and get over it this is real life.

Apart from the word being 'ANGEL'. Don't think that an 'angle' is a good thing to be compared to as a singer... You have just proved my point for me, the only reason she got the attention in the first place was because she looked like she did! If she was a half attrative woman she would have got a luke warm response. Media hype, everyone loves freaks, no matter if they are semi- talented (like susan is) or if they are a joke.
You may remember (if you actually watched the show), that they had a load of freaks on who were doing silly dances and trying to break records for most chocolate eaten in a minuite, then to soften the blow they sent an 'OK' singer called Susan on who everyone thought was going to be a freak but sang like an amatuer operatic singer who sings at her Church every now and then. The fact that she could hold a note coupled with the fact that she looked like Sloth off the Goonies, meant that the world went wild.
It is all Simon Cowell media hype... Grow up and get over that.
That is 'Real life'.

Whatever she looks like or is like as a person, she will now get to make an album that is a guaranteed seller, and she will get to perform in America and maybe all over the world.
I'm not an envious person but I would LOVE the chance to do that.
She may not have been blessed with beautiful looks but she is certainly going to be blessed with an experience many other singers would really love to have.
I think her voice is average at best BTW.
I hope she is able to enjoy every moment of this opportunity.

It worked out best for everyone. Boyle doesnt have the pressure will have some nice success. And Diversity was just incredible. If you watched the final it really could have gone so many ways. She wasnt the clear winner by any means come the end.

I recorded it and have watched it this morning.
There were a few acts who should not have made the final but on the whole I think the acts were ok.
I don't usually watch the show but with all the media hype around Susan Boyle I tuned in. I found it surprisingly entertaining.
I think she will be better off for not winning.

I've had co-workers who come to work all talking with each other how they voted five times on their home phone, and on their cell phones and some even go next door to their neighbors to put in even more extra votes, cause they mention that you can only vote a total of five times from the same phone. So this is all bullshit really and I'm glad I've never watched a single episode of any of these "talent" shows on TV during my adult life. Fucking waste of my time. I got dinners to help cook with my wife and cars to work on and maintain, and stuff to do in preparation for work the next day. I don't need to burn up my time with that horseshit! But I guess it would be fun for kids to watch, I used to watch the Gong Show back in the 70's when I was in elementary school. But that was way before I had to pay bills in order to live.

History shows that the one that comes in second tends to have a more successful 'career'. At least with American Idol.
Having said that, she is a victim of her own celebrity, and I hope she just goes away and I never have to look at that face again. I don't care how great her voice may be.

I doubt you'll ever have to worry cause basically I've never heard of people becoming successful singing sensationals at 45+ years of age. Pretty much ALL 45 and over famous singers were famous when they were much much younger and they are famous at an older age now simply because of who they were when they were young. Imagine if bands like Aerosmith, Van Halen, The Stones and the like were never bands....and have Steven Tyler, DLR, etc. comes out on American Idol at their current age. How well do you think they'd do on that show? They'd all bomb cause no one would have known who they were or the band they played in. But since they were famous at a younger age, they are famous now. So I doubt you'll have to worry about seeing this woman hitting it big time in the music world....maybe something little, but not main stream for sure.
Twenty some odd years ago I was shooting some pool and drinking diet coke in a club in the Philippines one very hot sunny afternoon and I got to thinking how cool it would be if there was a tv show that featured only amature bands performing. I never thought about having people vote though and shit like that. I'm sort of curious why these tv shows do not have any band acts going on. I think that would be more interesting then one person acts.

Fuck Willie Nelson and the horse he rode in on. That fuckhead is a famous singer? I thought he was just that shitty one-time Taco Bell spokes personality who didn't pay his taxes some years ago. He must be hella extra crispy by now, sitting on a porch stoned and pissing in a old glass pickle jar cause he's to fucking lazy to get up and go to the pisser.

She was taken into The Priory last night after her behaviour gave cause for concern.
Not sure why they had to call the police to escort her there 'under the Mental Health Act' however. That seems a bit OTT to me. They usually do that if the person is a danger to themselves or other people.
But come on, the woman has special needs and has been turned into a worldwide name over the last few weeks.
Even a stage school kid would be better prepared for all the Press intrusion that brings.
No wonder the poor bugger is 'exhausted.'

Maybe it's true and she needs rest, as they reported, but I've also heard that
she checked herself in.
And it made the news awful fast, don't ya think?
Rather convenient timing, news-wise. I'm not saying, I'm just saying...

I really dont think there is any kind of conspiracy to this story tbh. I'm sure a few people will think that there is (and I can see why) but I dont think so.

I still feel she is beautiful inside & out.But i am saying that is the way some men look at women. If your beautiful and big boos and ass you all all over them. But if you don't see the beauty in them you thing there ugly not me.I feel that there is beauty in everyone but some you have to look deep inside others you don't.
