The one thing I like though is that they at least are making things more interactive to where kids are moving around and not sitting in place only moving their fingers. We play certain games as a family too, so it's can be a social thing to do too.

The one where you interact with a fake person though is a bit creepy

I've got an elite. I use my older xbox 360 as an upcoverter for my PAL DVD's since It doesn't need to be chipped to play the backups.

These kids need this technology....it helps them with hand eye coordination. It aids in hearing as well. It helps flip those burgers faster, and just enough wrist action when emptying the fry basket. And god, a good videogamer knows just when to twist the salt shaker when applying it to my fries....

And maybe if more of these dweebs played video games....they'd have the hand-ear coordination to get my damn fast food order correct! But no, i have to continually bring my shit back in the place and ask WTF happened. And then leave them with a little, 'That's why you get paid minimum wage!'

The repetitive nature of video games (stomping the same Goombas in the same places every time or in 2009, shooting the same characters the same way and collecting the weapons in the same places, every time) teaches them that they need to do the same thing the same way every time, the way they're taught, and that's why when I ask for just a smidge of sour cream on the burrito, they ignore me, do what they've been trained to do, and flood the damn thing so that I have to go "Um, no... remake that please."
