Techno Version of Seprarate Ways

Hey Gang,
I was recently hired by a company to provide vocals for a techno version of Separate Ways.
The vocals were done here in the US then, sent tp Sweden for the music to be added.
These remixes are used for club dance mixes and also for "workout CD's" that are used at various places around the world.
It's the first time I have ever done anything like this, and thought it was a really cool experience.
I hope I did Mr Perry proud.
Please let me know what you guys think.
Thanks

MR BIG WORLD TOUR!
The Classical Metal Show
Interview with Billy Sheehan

Chris: So, is there plans in the future, getting back together and recording, or is this kind of ‘wait and see how everything plays out’, or… where are ya at?

Billy: There’s no specific plan, but I would expect a bit. It might happen, as a natural occurence. You know, I’m sure… I’d love to record again. Do some more songs. We’ve all got lots of great stuff that we’d love to contribute to a band album. So that’s very likely that it will happen. We will have a lot of live playing to do, ’cause of something. We still have South America, and Europe, Italy… in Italy, there’s 5 or 6 Mr. Big copy bands that play also. So Mr. Big is gigantic in Italy. And all across Europe, all across South America, Australia, southeast Asia, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Japan of course, Korea we do well in, Russia, we have offers to go there… so, and all across the US as well. From New York to L.A. and all points in between. So, it’s going to be a busy time for us. You couldn’t make me happier. To have this happen is great.
==============================
Brazilians, Argentinians, you're finally getting... LUCKY THIS TIME! Also in Europe! AND U.S.! Great tour ahead!

Mike (with the tamborine) and his band The Regan Years performing with Eric Martin last year......he's singing Richie Kotzen's portion of the song. And doing a kickass job at it! Image http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfhA8tgbpj4

Thanks for the kind words guys!!
It was a really neat experience, and I hope they call on me to do more "techno tunes".
There are a couple of things in the pipeline that I am working on. Once I have the A-OK, I'll let everyone know about them.

I WILL be performing again with Eric and friends again in King of Prussia, PA on Sunday August 2nd.
I hope you all will spread the word and make it out.
Details are located here~http://www.uppermerionparkandrec.org/concerts-schudule-2009.asp

BTW Deb,Hold Your Head Up is a GREAT version. I got the CD about 2 weeks ago.
Have you seen this?

Vocals didn't fit the techno vibe. Would have sounded better with a female auto tuned track. Surprised they went with a male vocal here. Vocally not bad, a little weak in some places, some parts sounds a bit like "sting", etc. Overall I don't think this is going to be a popular techno tune. The vocal/music mix just doesn't work imho.

Me too, been checking and nada so far! :( Maybe security is tighter for cameras in the arenas over there.....considering they are going to film the Budakon show on the 20th for dvd/cd. :D The set lists look GREAT though! :D Nice to see rarities like Stay Together and Tempermental in there. Noticed there isn't any Kotzen era songs, like Shine though. Check out "Smoke On The Water" from the second show, band members changing instruments a couple times. http://metalichicka.wordpress.com/2009/ ... formation/

Have a ball at the Prussia show, hopefully lots of vid comes out of it again. :) Would love to make it down for that one, but planning a US visit with a friend later in the year (hopefully time it around a Mr Big show). :)
