You are probably right, but Perry could be rolling this out slowly on his own terms. Only time will tell.

Oh you of little faith. He will do some touring and live performances. I'll bet he is starting to work on that now. He will want it to be of high quality (like the release of his album which was excellent) and he will plan and rehearse accordingly. He may also want to not tour during cold weather so I look to a Spring/Summer tour and I can't wait to see him perform.

I keep hearing No Erain' at the store. Perry is cooking up something. Maybe he will tour in the Summer.

I changed my mind on the other thing. Perry won't do another album with Journey. That is out the window because Neal is acting all crazy, If Neal was quiet about Perry, there might have been a 1% chance, but even that is gone.

However, a solo tour looks almost certain.

Absolutely NOTHING indicating a tour. SP's release of a Christmas song makes me optimistic that he will record more songs in the future.

Yes, his comments about having lots of material stored up makes me think more songs will be on the way sporadically.

What I could see coming from him as a tour (if it ever happened) would be a storytellers type of show. Similar to what he did with the Eels. Sharing stories about certain songs, then maybe performing portions or medlies of those songs...with other full song performances in the mix. It would be much easier on him vocally, less pressure to have spot-on performances show after show. More impromptu. If he doesn't feel a song is going how he would prefer, it's easy enough to say to the band "ok enough of that," laugh and move on to a new story and song. Is this what fans would want? Maybe not. But it would put him in a setting and a pace that he could control, it would allow him to connect more personally with the fans (which he seems to like now), and there would be no pressure to live up to any unreal expectations.

Who knows!
