Aside from being a tenor, I don't hear any Perry comparisons. Despite being called Perry with a perm by Deen, I always thought SA was interesting choice. Neither of his two bands, Tall Stories or Tyketto, were really traditional AOR.

Dude was good and a good dude. I saw his first show with Journey. He was scared as he should of been but delivered.
