Hope some more video comes out. Sounds pretty muddled but I am sure that is just the phone?
Also whats up with the empty front row seats?

Not much new on the setlist or order but still if they come anywhere near me I am there.

very cool, these videos have much better sound quality, and they answer to why the front row seats, as they are reserved for tribal members. Me my self I am a tribal member, why didnt you call me?

Wasn't Marti Fredericksen (sp?) supposed to be on tour with them? Hope they eventually work one of the new tunes in the show.

Not too sure, but in these limited vids is the synth player "the man behind the curtain" or just not visible in these?
Looks like a piano/synth set up behind the left stage curtain.

and what is the D and lines on the setlist? hopefully not a delete.

Surprised they don't do any songs post-TBF. That said, I can't imagine any Journey fan not being excited about this band, seeing them live, and the potential of some new music.

Is People, People and Places from Departure? Now I would be really excited to get a live
Cd/DVD from this project, what are the chances?

I assume this is from Next, a truly underrated album.
Also amazing the drummer, Ansley Dunbar wrote most of the lyrics on this album.

My favorite on Next is the title song. Would love to hear it live with JTT.

WHAT AN AMAZING SHOW...

Damn - like the first time I saw journey during frontiers tour when I was 5...

2 hours 45 mins, and never checked the time

Here's a couple of excerpts I captured with a full solo spot for "I'm gonna leave you" (think that's the title)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOiFc3SG5Pc

Neal has his band back

We had a great time at the show. I was able to appreciate the music much more this time in my reserved seat and not having to deal with a GA floor. HUGE props to Neal for playing a 2.5 hour set only a few days after having gall bladder surgery... he only sat down once for a very brief time.

I has hoping for more songs from the first 3 albums - only 7 out of the 24 song set. I understand why they have to play the more popular songs, but I definitely wanted more Gregg and less Deen. "La Do Da," "Loving You Is Easy," "Separate Ways," "Anyway You Want It" and even, dare I say it, "Don't Stop Believin" could be retired and I would be fine with that. But I am realistic and realize most Journey fans want to hear those songs.

The crowd energy was actually more intense for the songs off the first 3 albums. Possibly because it was a Bay Area crowd more familiar with those tunes.

Anyway, everyone played their butts off and Neal & Gregg still have that special magic.

Definitely agree that the set list should be at least 50% from the first 3 albums, and deeper cuts from the next 3 and even doing 1 from Dream after dream. (Opened the Door, People and Places, and Sweet and Simple come to mind)
Would have no problem having AWYWI and LTS being dropped.

I do like the Lights/Still they Ride and of course Deen's always awesome Mother Father, but seeing Rolie up there during DSB and even more so during the Super synth song Sep ways (which he never played synths or sings backup on either) is a pretty awkward.
