New Mick and Kelly Interview

Part of a promo for a concert that recently aired on HDNET. Gotta say, their management does a bang-up job. Since reforming, I've seen Foreigner on everything from PBS to A&E to TBS and more. Can't avoid these guys.

Saw them last week and was impressed. Hansen is the best fill-in lead singer I have heard to-date. They sounded great and he is a good front man. Had the crowd going from the first song and even kept them into it during two new songs. I'd like to see them again.

Through my experiences as a college student at college radio, I developed a close working relationship with Foreigner's publicist. I conveyed to him this sentiment and how it was seen on a Foreigner message board. Needless to say, he was pleased and happy about his efforts being noticed.

Very cool. Given their ubiquitous media presence, you would think they were handled by Azoff or one of the heavy mngt. firms. Whoever it is, they clearly care about the band and know how to sell them.
