This is really cool of Steve. Damn, he is getting around. Here in Saint Paul, London, LA, Boston, who else knows elsewhere.
Glad it sold out quick and hope is seats at least a few hundred to raise big $$. And really cool they all get CDS and other goodies (in additional to meeting him and a picture) I think for 100 bucks this is a tremendous bargain and for such a great cause, as the lady says a win win!

Also hope any QA gets recorded or transcribed.

This is the first I hear about The Steve Perry Foundation. Anyone know what they do?

Cool. A couple of months ago I was watching a program on PBS (can't remember the show) & at the end they thank donors..I thought I heard them say "Steve Perry foundation"..wonder if its the same?

That was a fun and fantastic sounding event. He is on a mission with this album and with the interviews that he is giving. This is his tour, friends. Cut the reunion talk, cut the cup of coffee talk, just let him do what he is doing. He's got that new state of the art studio in his house now. Hopefully his passion will produce more music so he could put that studio to good use. That's his mission now...let's let him run with it.

I hope part of the mission is to actually sing the new songs live. Whether it be a talk show or a stage.
Just one time on Kimmel or Fallon (singing) would sell more records than dozens of radio interviews.

Surely it was filmed too? Hope to see the high jinks on You Tube soon.

Yup. Been saying this all along. A live performance of one of the new singles on late night or talk shows would have sky rocketed this album easily in the top 3. It's still not too late either. This is honestly the only omission/mistake marketing wise he did. Everything else has been superb.
