Train singer-songwriter Pat Monahan appeared to be as happy as Journey when he inducted the veteran San Francisco-based band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April.

... “I like to write those love songs like Journey did,” Monahan says. “It was great meeting all of those guys backstage in Brooklyn (at the induction.) They like what we do, which is so cool. It was especially cool meeting (former Journey vocalist) Steve (Perry) backstage. He was so cute since he was so enthusiastic.” ...
