Very sad. Backing tracks and canned vocals.

IF they are going to fake their shows they should have brought back Criss and Frehly to give a great sendout.
Maybe there are plans for this. Was sad too see only 1 show on the Foreigner supposedly reunion.

I didn’t realize that they ever weren’t faking their shows.

So you're saying Augeri's the newest member of KISS?

Just curious since I keep coming back to this post -- any examples?

Here's Eddie Trunk responding to a caller's question about KISS using backing tracks on their recent shows (instruments as well as vocals).

"There are moments when they are nowhere near microphones and vocals come out."

For most of their career they were very much live. In 89-90 they started using Gary Corbett as an offstage keyboard player/backing vocals. Had zero problem with it.

This, if it goes how I think it will I'll have a major problem with.

Anything off the current Kiss Kruise with Paul on vocals. He all of the sudden at an advanced age recovered from sounding like this (yuck):

He has sounded that bad for awhile now. Now all of the sudden - same song he sounds decent.

Mic is live do not get me wrong, but there is trickery going on. You sometimes see him off the mic and still hear lead vocals on many clips.

Thanks for sharing. All I can say on that Barcelona clip is wow...

The two clips are night and day. I'm not a singer, but I know Paul's voice has suffered as the years/tours go on (his stage banter doesn't help) and there's a difference between an off night and wear and tear. Not sure what to think on Kruise clip...
