Just got in from getting my tattoo. Would've been in sooner, but we tried to get food at Denny's, and had the crappiest service EVER - a long story. It did hurt, but not like I thought it might. I know this will not help Mindy, but my sister (veteran of 2 c-sections) had a harder time with it than I did. A picture of it is below (no comments on my white leg, please!)...

Wow, nice! Whoever did it, did a great job. 8)

How does it feel today, still hurting?

My brother is covered in tats, on his arms, legs, and back.

Me, I'm still gonna think about it over the next ten years or so.

It got a little red later in the evening, then it went away again. It is a bit pink today and stinging, but ok. The tonsilitis I had in Feb. hurt worse than this did!!

How's everyone's Saturday going? It is VERY cold here - doesn't feel like April at all!!

Glad it's healing nicely for you Ms M.

Ya we got paid yet another visit from Jack Ass Frost.
I hate Winter, will it ever be over?
Making my Jesus dinner today because tomorrow it's
off to the nursing home and Mom's for us.
My menu today........
Black forest ham, scalloped potatoes, salad with homemade croutons,
green beans and baby warm rolls and a lemon cake for
after dinner sweets.

What's the rest of you Lot doing today and tomorrow?

Thanks Moon. I'm keeping the "tattoo goo" on it, so that seems to help.

Your food sounds really yummy! Wish I was there - except for the weather!! :) For the first time in years, I do not have plans for Easter. It used to be a long day driving all over the general Houston Metroplex area. It was usually uncomfortable and tense. Tomorrow - I am going to enjoy the singleness and lack of tension.

The tattoo?? Uh, no. I guess I wasn't on the table long enough to get "numb" as a lot of people talk about. Even though it was very uncomfortable, I would probably do it again. Can't say the same for my sis.... ;)

It was cool. Like I said, I'd probably do it again. I think I would go for a fleshier part, though. The nerves in my legs were not likin' it!

Evening Lot, hope everyone had a good holiday.
We had a splendid day visiting with Meme at the home.
Though it's hard seeing the woman that raised me laying in
bed unable to even move on her own and really having nothing
else left to look forward to then the smiling faces of those that love
her, I always leave there feeling grateful and glad that I went.
There are not many days in my life that I am happy about
my age and never view myself as young, today I was both.

After we exchanged affection and said our see ya soonly's
we left for my Mom's to enjoy a very active meal with
kids bouncing about.
Just tucked the mine in bed and off to fetch a cup of tea.
No booze for me today so have one for me if ya can!

Happy Easter Everyone!

P.S Liam, I agree, tatty pain is some of the best kind going!

i have no love for tattoos,, BUT i do like to see them being done,, in the old days.. ugh.. a guy or gal would get drunk,, bad drunk,, and get a tattoo.. thats not allowed any more,, one time i saw a dude getting a woody woodpecker on the top of his head,, it was in a dim lit alley in Deep Ellum... im thankful for being alive ... somehow i get along with bikers and white trash,, i think they see the tie and think im a cop,, not sure..
