I find it funny (and honestly both sides are guilty of this) where if you're on the winning side of the pole, they say "that confirms we're doing well" and if you're on the losing side, it's always "the voters haven't spoken yet" or "the polls lie". They are such tenuous things where all it takes is some sex scandal, an incredibly bad verbal faux pas, an Iran/Israeli war and the whole shootin match changes.
I'll be glad when the election is over. The one huge downside to being registered as a non-partisan (because I detest both parties to be honest) is that I get constantly harrassed by both parties anyway because I'm an "independent" voter (one of the joys of living in a swing state like Nevada I suppose).
yer not making any sense...
1st you say:...In '09 the vast majority of Obama voters were college kids
I show you hard, after-the-fact evidence that your opinion is based on no fact at all... and now you say:....all these graphs, charts, etc. don't mean a thing to me until after the results of the election. After the election, I will then analyze these graphs, charts, etc. for trend purposes only.
Facts always matter... because an opinion you can't factually support... is called a guess..

We all know that you would never ever admit if Ryan wouldnt deliver, which he didnt. I think the funniest new of yesterday was CuNtolesa Rice trying to give advice about foreign affair policiesBitch please, the last person we need to talk about this is the one who was Bush and Chaneys puppy and helped start a war based on lies .
What was our bet again? A case of cold ones wasn't it?

So if you are saying Ryan really has supported the Dem policies, will that not make some independents more willing to go with Romney/Ryan. Just saying.
It's like when the GOP touts all these people that are upset with Obama (e.g. Matt Damon, etc). They say see, even they are upset. But they are upset because the Prez didn't go left enough. So it's a weird thing in my opinion.
I think for the crowd Ryan was trying to reach, it was as good as speech as any. And don't worry folks, there will be plenty of lies and half-truths next week. But there will be some powerful speakers that will help the cause.

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will head to Louisiana to tour damage from Hurricane Isaac.
Romney has scheduled a last-minute visit Friday to Lafitte, La., where he will tour damage with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. The storm canceled the first day of Romney’s Republican convention, and his campaign has been considering a visit for several days.
Romney is scrapping an appearance in Virginia to go to Louisiana instead.
Heavy rains and flooding have contributed to at least five deaths in Louisiana and Mississippi this week after the slow-moving storm knocked out power in whole neighborhoods.
In Louisiana, Romney will thank emergency first responders for their work.

Mitt Romney may be headed to New Orleans on Friday, but President Obama has no plans to make a similar stop to view damage from Hurricane Isaac.
"No changes to our schedule as of now," Obama campaign traveling press secretary Jen Psaki told POLITICO.
The president is scheduled to leave Washington Friday morning to visit troops at Fort Bliss near El Paso, Texas.

Eastwood had it a bit wrong, Obama is more of a stool than a chair.
