I don't know what team you happen to support, but here in Pittsburgh we get excited no matter how good or bad the team is when we beat them.

It's a Yinzer thing...And when your team wins 6 Super Bowl (instert Deano rant about being given Super Bowl XL), maybe you will get exicted too!

Something we DIDN'T do last year. It's a beautiful thing to pound teams you're supposed to, esp when #2 seed is on the line.

Fuck, the Panthers are AWFUL.

Just netted a shitload of points from Wallace, Mendenhall, Miller, and the Steel Curtain for my fantasy team. I'm primed for the title bout next week. I can almost taste the five bills.

Can't believe that I'm saying this but sitting here watching New England throttle Buffalo and am bored to tears. I hate watching lousy football, even if my hometown team is the team handing out the beatdown.

Pittsburgh might be one of the only cities where they could build a 67,000 seat hockey venue and fill it for every home game.

I see you are meddling in illegal drugs again. Pittsburgh is a Steeler town. The other teams there only get attention when they win. Now the pens have a solid organization, one of the best in sports. Bylsma is great, and of course you have Sid....meanwhile, the Pirates are the Pirates. maybe Mario should buy the Bucs and transform them too.

As for PGH being the only team that could fill a 67K stadium for hockey every night, you do know the 6 Canadian clubs all sold out every game last year as well as this year right? Add to those 6, Philly, NY, BOS and now WAS,, and I would say those are your hockey hotbeds...along with CHI and MIN.

I guarantee you the Patriots won't only lose again, but will lose more than once. This team is good but they're certainly not close to unbeatable!

Now Joe Willie, you should know by now that I always have confidence in my team. And you shouldn't make guarantees anymore. :P

Let me guess, you couldn't care less if the team is struggeliing?

As much as I like hockey, being at Pen's games doesn't do it for me as far as fiery. It's a very fast paced game, but the environment around the hockey arena is more family oriented so to speak as far as my taste. Even though the place can get a little loud when the goals are scored, I've been to many Pens playoff games (bro has season tickets on glass ) and I was dissapointed with the lack of noise and urgency in the place. I guess I'm more bred for a football crowd where it's 3 hours of non-stop screaming on the top of your lungs. After every Steelers game, it literally takes hours to get out of the parking lot because people are so rowdy in the streets and stay to pound another 30 beers. After the Pens game, people are quiet, go to their car and go home and maybe honk a horn or two. I love the Pens, but nothing will EVER amount to football in this city, it's not close.

I couldn't agree with you more. Listen, I respect the hell out of Pittsburgh as a Steelers town, but let's not turn this into some great American sports city, because it isn't and never will be. Rule number one in sports...NEVER take any city seriously who dresses every one of their fucking sports teams in the same fucking colors. It's fucking embarrassing!

Dude, you're great and all but even this is one LAME ASS statement coming from JFB  I'm laughing my ass off but you won't find too many people who are embarrassed about it, it's one city. Black and Gold is the norm here. Good stuff to find something else to hate on.

The Jets should be worried right now. They don't look like a team that is capable of winning a playoff game on the road.

I'd love to see that fat fuck eat some more shit. Rex Ryan is a bigger douche than his asshole kicker-bounty father.

So are many other cities with professional sports teams who seem to find a bit more imagination when it comes to their team colors! Sorry dude, but Shitsburgh will always be a second class sports city. It will never be in the class of Philadelphia, Chicago, NY, or Boston when it comes to a serious sports city. It's a Steelers town, period, end of story. That doesn't make it a serious sports city.

Singletary

Postby No Surprize » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:39 pm

Goes to show you how valuable a QB is to a team. San Fran has 2 & they both are horrible. That being said, my Phin's are in the same mess we have been in since Marino retired, no fucking QB. Chad Henne=pathetic beyond comprehension. Is it just me or does it look like it takes him 2:25 seconds to go thru his progressions? He's constantly getting ball batted down at the line of scrimmage( Put some fucking air under it will u), he moves like he's stuck in quicksand, and he's damn good for at least 2 to 3 interceptions a fucking game. This brings me to Sparano, the lame ass protoge' of the Tuna. What a fucking tool this guy is. Runs the same dinosaur offense game in and game out. Ball control, short pass here, short pass there, makes me fucking sick to my stomach! But hey, that's what the Tuna wanted, but, this isn't 1988 anymore or 2000 for that matter. Throw the fucking ball deep! I cannot fucking wait to I hear in the headlines, "Sparano FIRED"!

Singletary will get snatched up somewhere. Both of those Smith's in SF suck. Period. Good thing Mike got in their faces and deflated their egos a bit, especially Troy's. Who in the hell does he think he is? You ain't in Columbus anymore, Troy. This is the NFL and you aren't an NFL QB.

PACKERS up and down season continues... yesterday played spirited football on both sides... defense and offense... Rogers looked like the QB he was supposed to be and the receivers were catching most of the throws...even the running game showed some spunk... defense picks up a bunch of turnovers and offense gains over 500 yards... will this be the spring board??? Or will the Bears crush em next weekend... one week I LOVE this team and the next week I am wanting to punch the TV screen... Will enjoy the win yesterday... 9 wins is pretty good...need one more for the playoffs...

GO PACK GO...

Any time that you have two QB's, you have none. Teams with two QB's simply don't succeed in the NFL and never have.

Dude he wears sunglasses because of a medical condition, bright light literally makes him blided.

He had an accident as a teen and took a face full of hot cooking grease that almost completely blinded him.
