Well, the Chiefs are in self-destruct mode. Predictable.

If blueprints are so reliable, then why did the Jets not use one fro their 28-14 win over the Pats when they lost by 45 in New England?

That first game was a close game but that game saw the Jets outplay the Pats in the second half and outscore them 18-0. The Jets tried to do the same thing to N.E in a close game, but as bad as it started, N.E was crushing and N.Y had to get off their game plan and play catchup while N.E prepared for what the Jets were bringing.

As for the Chiefs game, what the hell happened? I stepped up at halftime at 10-7. I'm glad, Ravens suck.

Nice of the Chiefs to show up. As I said, complete fraud of a team based on their schedule this season. I knew they were fucked against a real NFL team.

The "blueprint" thing is nothing more than a media creation. The so called football experts like to use it when a team beats an otherwise unbeatable team. I promise you that blueprints have nothing to do with anything football related. The team that shows up to play and makes the fewest mistakes wins in football. It's really not any more complicated than that.

'Copycat League' is another term I can't stand....and while we are at it: Why do we need 5 guys to host a damn pre-game show? Aren't these guys rich enough? Do I really need to hear Sharpe disagree with 'Coach'? And does ANYONE need to listen to Marino's breakdown on how the team who wins the turnover game will be victorious?

I LOVE this Packers team. They just remind me so much of how Pittsburgh plays. Clay Matthews is seriously a carbon-copy player and X-factor like Polamalu. He even stands and plays like him. Same style in elusiveness. Rodgers plays a lot like Ben too. I always said I'd never, ever wear another teams jersey but if someone held a gun to my head to protect my family, it would be a Green Bay jersey.

Rodgers fumbles, Vick takes one play to go downfield and in the endzone and make it a 4 point game. Instead of going in the tank @ Philly, they come back with a beauty of a scoring drive of their own.

I've said all along they were the team to beat in the NFC. They could put up the best fight against the only 3 legitimate contenders left in the AFC - the Ravens, Patriots, and Steelers.

Did you see what happened to KC as soon as they lost the lead?

They started out doing a good job of running and throwing little quick screens to hide their horrible pass protection.

Baltimore got a lead and pinned their ears back and KC and Cassell were exposed. The worst pass protection I've seen by a playoff team in a long time.

Thank Akers for that win.....Eagles lost it. Pack didn't win it.

And a myriad of holding by the Pack O-line in that 2nd half that wasn't called.....horrible officiating.

Oh, bullshit.

The better team won. They made the plays when it counted.

Philly has gotten the benefit of more questionable calls this year than any team other than Baltimore, the Jets, and the Colts.

Dude just keeps exhibiting why he is one of the absolute worst sports fans, EVER! He may root for Boston teams, but the endless excuses are fucking puke-inducing. Hell, sometimes whining about the officiating is even legitimate, but every freakin' game? It's an old, tired act that's actually embarrassing.

I never said the officiating had anything to do with the outcome.....I said Aker's missed FGs did. Therefore the Pack won and they move on....but it was hardly an earth-shattering display today from GB....

And the officiating WAS horrible in the 2nd half....go ahead and lie. Tell me there wasn't at least 5 holding non-calls on the GB offense. Guys in the booth even pointed them out.

There was ONE mention of a missed holding call...and there are a dozen every game.

Game-changing calls by refs are reserved for bogus 3rd down PI calls and non-calls on muggings of sure TD catches, not the litany of holds.

I don't care what team is playing, there is always holding going on that doesn't get called. I see it every week. So what! Get over it. Overall, I thought the officiating was fair to both teams and they made an effort to get the calls right. I thought the officiating was pretty good.

Ding, ding ding! We have a winner. Anyone who has watched football for more than 10 minutes knows that holding can be called on EVERY freakin' play, which no fan really wants to sit through. I can tell you as a guy who played on the offensive line and defensive line, holding is truly happening on EVERY play. It's simply part of the game, so shut your fucking pie hole, move on, and enjoy the game!

Well, that was THREE cases of holding on ONE play. That definitely qualifies. Without a doubt the worst non-call in the history of the league.

Ad 3 more dings! I actually give refs major credit. They are always the scapegoat of games that are played so viciously and the game of football works so fast off of a quick twitch that it's really incredible the refs actually see what they see in live play. With that said, the refs actually let more things go than you think and they let the players play more than they should because EVERY play there's dirtiness and fouls being committed at a high rate, period. There's noway to stop grown men engaging each other for 3 hours repeatedly and not one "hold" not being committed. The refs do a great job in the midst of officiating a game that's impossible to see EVERYTHING.

BTW: The Pack tried to GIVE (how can the Eagles lose it when they never even had the lead?) that game away, fumbling numerous times and losing multiple possessions. GB flat out beat the Eagles, who had a shot to win the game at the end.

LOGIC ALERT

If it can be called on any play....then we can learn alot by when it is called. Just like in hockey. A hook is a hook in the 3rd period - just like it is in the 1st period. But for some reason the officials swallow their whistles at the end of games....

So when that offensive tackle is trying to hold off that DE on the blind side and is holding - why does the ref swallow his whistle these 20 plays, but choose to use it on this specific play?

Officiating is completely inconsistent....when vegas has a great line going, but somehow one team is bucking the system and just gained a nice 40 yard run....but wait! the right tackle was holding. So the play is brought back.....but let that be a modest run of 3 yards - with the same hold - refs don't whistle shit! I saw KC player Glenn Dorsey being blatantly held by a Raven today - not 2 feet from a ref that was looking RIGHT at the play....ref didn't do shit. Pitiful.

Some holds are more blatant than others, preferably in the open field. Most holds are pretty much called right out in the open, or if a running back gains the edge on a sweep and someone gets hooked beyond belief. More of those are called than any other. It's not necc that the refs sit there and countdown the plays, they just judge it on how severe the hold actually is on the spot of the field.

S2M, you'd never survive a Steelers game. James Harrison gets choked ALL game long and he may only get 1, or if lucky, 2 penalties called against maybe every 5 games or so. We just stopped pointing it out because it's never called.... ever.
