This was the easiest underhanded softball set up for Trump to knock a home run. Come on, it's white supremacists and Nazi's. Instead of coming out with a speech similiar in rhetoric that he uses to talk about Mexicans and Muslims, he says there are 'very fine' people on both sides -- equating the two sides. Even MORONS , like KC who thinks a witch hunt is a group of witches going hunting, knows these are simply evil. Name a 'very fine' Nazi. What Trump said was pathetic.
He condemned the stupidity and violence.
Yep...and he could have left it there and at least broke even. But, David Duke Tweets a bunch of critical msgs so Trump has to come out and basically backtrack to his first statement...which David Duke was all happy about.
“You had a group on one side and group on the other and they came at each other with clubs—there is another side, you can call them the left, that came violently attacking the other group. You had people that were very fine people on both sides.”
Funny how Trump caters to the Klan and Nazis. Well, no, it's not funny....it's outrageous and it should be universally condemned by any American, regardless of party...and more and more Republicans are speaking out against Trump.
The only reason to stand by Trump is if you do sympathize with white supremacists and Nazi's. That is the only way I can see a person justifying him saying they are very fine people, and walking back his condemnation.
It's ridiculous...he calls out Mexicans as being drug dealers, rapists and murders and wants to build a wall to keep them out, he views women as targets of forced kisses, pussy grabs, and sees no value in them unless he finds them fuckable. He essentially views all Muslims as terrorists and wants to ban them from the country. But white supremacists and Nazi's? He can't find it within himself to speak out against them and STICK TO IT. He almost CATERS to them.
Still waiting for the left to condemn the violence at Berkeley over having conservative speakers or what went on from the left at the Chicago Trump rally and what happened on inauguration day in DC.
Oh, please. First of all, the Democrats have no real "leader" to make such an apology. Second, that leader is not the President. Lastly, condemning the violence of a riot (like DC) is not that hard to do. Also, Berkeley does draw critique from the left for being a free speech advocate but not allowing certain people to speak there. They even canceled a Bill Maher show. Lastly, students protesting at Berkeley, and even the rioters in DC, are not at the evilish level of white supremacists and Nazi's. That is just a ridiculous comparison.
