I think it's going to take A LOT of pressure for Mueller to drop the charges against Flynn. The revelation about the FBI investigator on Mueller's probe raises serious questions about it. Political bias has no place in such a thing. It's my personal position that this is just a tactic to thwart Trump's Presidency. It won't be the last. I expect the establishment to continue to try and break Trump through his entire term.

I saw that on Tuesday Comey tweeted telling the public to remember that FBI is honest and trustworthy and will always be independent. I'm surprised he didn't add that they were above being questioned. He feels that any AG would be all over this and cleaning house. He calls the revelations about the FBI agent's actions as monumental corruption within the FBI. He also talks about Hannity's work on the story and says he is doing what Sessions should be. The long and short of it is, Lionel believes Mueller's investigation is fatally compromised at this point. I think this is worth watching.

Mueller isn't going anywhere. IMO, you'll see more indictments in the next few months...as a result of Flynn turning state witness. The investigation isn't almost over, as you all would like to think. When the president is forced to testify, then it will almost be over.

Flynn made a deal for his cooperation. If he cooperates, the FBI will say so and suggest a smaller sentence for his one charge. If he does as I think Boom suggests and starts fighting back, he could end up being charged for multiple crimes and going to jail for a very long time...he has no real incentive but to cooperate.

Jr. could probably be charged with lying to congress right now...and perhaps he should be - just to make an example out of him. He is avoiding answering questions...and when he HAS answered questions, he has lied..."we never met with Russians" "the meeting was about adoption." "There was no follow up." Etc. Yes, and while under oath, he admitted there was a follow up meeting to the big Trump Tower meeting, between himself and his daddy.
