At least (most of) those guys excelled in college and didn't single-handedly blow a few playoff games. Russell, as RWF mentioned, is probably the only one worse than Romo. No, fuck that, at least Russell was good in college. Romo is the worst.

Some people are winners and some people are losers. He has proven time and time again that he is a loser. The only suggestion I would give him as far as trying things goes would be suicide. But my guess is that he'd fuck that up, too.

Unfortunately, Carson Palmer is the QB of my favorite team. I can't imagine a worse meltdown than his yesterday. He threw a pick at midfield with under 2 minutes left on 3rd and 12 from his own 38. Tampa went down and tied the game. But that wasn't good enough for old Carson. He decided to throw another pick and have Tampa kick a game-winning field goal with 1 second left. Way to take a 7 point lead with under 2 minutes left and give the game away. He can't possibly start next week. Enough is enough. :x

Nothing of that nature of Palmer's game shocked me. He's going to always be a good fantasy QB. Lewis has built the team around him to produce numbers, but other than that, Palmer has been a terrible clutch quarterback and hasn't won anything significant ever. What he did yesterday is what he's been doing since his arrival and I wasn't shocked what so ever. I think it's time for Cincy to invest in another future QB whether it be in draft, or competition for Palmer next season for camp. Cincy now has potential on defense to do damage, they need a QB who can ultimatley win some football games in tight spots and Carson isn't that answer.

Big Ben is a lot better than Rivers. Look at the passes he made in the clutch moments of the playoffs and Super Bowl. Absolutely incredible. I expect Travis to pop in here and post the youtube clips for us at any moment.

Nah, it's not worth the youtube vids. Everyone knows what kind of pressure QB Ben is. It doesn't need to be proven via video.

If you think Peyton Manning is a better clutch quarterback than Roethlisberger than you are high on crack and possibly some kind of potent pills to go with it.

1:00 to go, down by 6 on your own 17 yard line, I take Ben over anyone in this league and that includes Brady, Brees, and certainly Manning whose playoff record is pitiful. Didn't Manning throw the interception to cost his team in Super Bowl 44? Ben threw one of the most incredible throws in Super history and it was received by one of the most incredible catches as well. If that ball isn't on a rope and placed a pube off, that ball is picked by any of the 3 Cards defenders. Everyone forgets that if Justin Hartwig wasn't called for a phantom holding call on our own one yard line, the Steelers win that game. Ben stood tall in our own endzone facing third and long and hit Holmes on a beauty post route that was called back, gave ARI two points and kicked them the ball back before Ben led his team AGAIN in the final seconds to win.

What the fuck did Tom Brady ever do? Get his team in field goal position to kick some 45 yard field goals in every Super Bowl? What a pussy. If it wasn't for Vinatieri, the Pats lose EVERY Super Bowl that they were in. What the hell did he do against the Giants on that last drive when he had a chance? Nothing.

..and Phillip Rivers? I think I just chunked in my pants for laughing so hard. Thanks for the laugh S2M. I know you love baiting, and trust me I'll bite every time.

Oh shit, sorry dude, I never realized that. I will now obey your "football watching years" and will now understand that since you were born before me in my years, then I will not have an opinion and if that opinion happens to be good, I will check in with you, the guru, to see if it's worthy enough to be posted all mighty one. I hope I can get to your level of football watching one day.

That pick at the end of the game wasn't Palmers fault. That ball hit 85 right in both hands. Dude was a better receiver when his name was Johnson.

AH my worst weekend ever in sports fandom was replaced by a natural high when Brett was intercepted at the end of the Vikes Jets game... LOL... so he now is normal gunslinger form... but I got to give props to the guy for getting to 70,000 yards... and 501 TDs... that Moss TD was just amazing...

That Jet's defense is no joke. He played better than I anticipated against them, esp in that weather. The Vikes could kick it into overdrive soon, but they are in a big rut that is going to be tough to climb out of. Their schedule is B-R-U-T-A-L. The Jets on the other hand have a VERY nice team. They are solid on all fronts and have a chance to go somewhere.
