Cali is so fucking broke it ain’t funny and like Illinois’s will have to tax everything like rain fucking water is some locales. How bad will it have to get as like Steve says, people finally wake up. Your state is being robbed dude, vote in some fiscally responsible adults and fix your mess. Hint: Newsome ain’t the guy.
Maybe instead of worrying about state government, you should make the same demands of the guy you voted for president. He promised to eliminate the debt, instead his corporate tax cut INCREASED THE DEBT by over a TRILLION dollars. You advising others on how to vote to get debt relief is hilarious, meaningless, crap unless you are willing to start critiquing Drumpf for leading the country into the exact same situation you are saying California is in.

You know, the stuff that burns like dried paper. What it doesn't do is talk about the money allocated to bury the power lines in these areas that didn't happen. but again you expose yourself more and more here. But do discount those facts because they didn't come from your supermarket tabloids you take for news.

Um, that’s what the article is saying. By keeping the forests cleaned of old dead growth it protects against these types of fires being so fast growing. The forests are filled with matchsticks just waiting to flare up at the slightest lightening strike or stray cigarette butt. Protecting the environment is not letting it go au naturale like a hippie chick that doesn’t shave her pits or legs.

I can only imagine the kind of tweets Agent Orange would have "composed" in the wake of 9-11.

Why do you think Democrats won't allow passage of a voter ID law? Not that voter IDs would have stopped what's happening in Broward County right now. They blatantly flaunt their corruption. The only thing that will stop it is having every vote cast and counted overseen by the US Marshal service. One step better would be the National Sheriff's Association. Those men are farther from the influence of The Swamp. If we don't stop the Soros's Democrat Socialists now (I refuse to call them Democratic) our children and grandchildren will be living under a socialist government.
The people who ran as Democrat candidates this year. i.e. Ocasio-Cortez, Beto O'Rourke, Kyrsten Sinema, show how little regard that party has for this country.

Maybe it would be like, "this attack was caused by a anti Islam video posted on Youtube".

Yeah, and make sure that California is dumping their water reserves into the Pacific ocean to help protect the environment.

Nope, but it doesn't surprise me you chose that line to get into at that particular moment.

How come you didn't quote me in entirety? You don't want to discuss that CNN's sweet heart, the creepy porn lawyer, has been arrested? You cherry picker, you.

Well, creepy porn lawyer was looking pretty formidable and was saying all the right things. But he's now toast and has next to no credibility as far as I'm concerned. He needs to go away.
Andrew wrote:I might also add that clearing forests of a build up of brush and dead trees is common sense.
We've got some green groups advocating for that to be banned and for a while there has been no controlled burning in bushland here. But a huge fire that wiped out a town a few years back had that turned around and now there are a few targeted burn-offs during early spring to protect us from summer fires.
BUT...there is still absolutely no doubt that the climate is entirely fucked up and everyone needs to play a part in making sure it doesn't get worse.

I never believed Avenatti had a chance politically anyway. The next year or so is going to be interesting. Neither Clinton nor Bernie should run either. The Democrats have far too many other younger people coming up.
It would also be interesting if some ex-Republican independent runs as a 'traditional" Republican and truly stomps on Drumpf for his "values" and ruining the party. It could easily happen.
Monker wrote:The "Problem" is the extended drought making EVERYTHING flammable, careless idiots like FF who seem to think it's OK to through cigarette butts around, and thrill seekers who actually start the fires with arson.
I assume the bush is not a forest. In that case, the town should create a fire break between the town and the bush...maybe do controlled burns in that area to keep the town safe from wildfires....probably what you are describing. But, that is NOT the same as the dense forests in CA. However, they could have some regulation of not building city structures/homes a certain distance from the forest and keeping a good fire break there.
Good luck in convincing Trumpians of that.
