Yep, Michael Kiske is a good singer. That's my fave song I've heard from him.

He's had a rough go recently, but it looks like he's performing live again. Wonder how he's doing...

Yeah I remember reading about some drug arrest last year.....hope he's turned things around. LOL such a goofy guy, but always dug his smokey vocals. Fun live clip...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt_D2tYn2KQ

must remember to track him down whenever I get back to the Indianapolis area. Good singer and songwriter who should have done more than he did. Been looking for his double live album for a while now, but it's darned near impossible to locate. Andrew was raving about it back when it was released, but never did pick it up and now it's out-of-stock and out-of-print.

Jimmy Barnes - Live at the Melbourne Music Festival 1988
new dvd live from the Freight Train Heart tour. It isn't Journey, but Freight Train Heart was basically Barnes/Cain and some Schon. Too bad Barnes and Cain didn't get along too well, as the album is probably his best as a solo artist. Great stuff, and Barnes was in usual massive rock mode that night.

Official video for Last Frontier -- which was filmed at this show

If I come across it I'll let you know. Or better yet, if it is out-of-stock and print, Andrew is this the kind of thing that could possibly show up in MR-X?

Out of stock, out of print, independent release (ie very few copies to begin with). Just like his last studio album Big Drum. It boggles the mind why artists won't put albums up on itunes or similar sites that are independent releases and out of print. You may not sell many copies, but you might sell a few.

Brooks & Dunn. I can't believe they're breaking up and it's one of the few country acts I've ever wanted to see. "Believe" is one of the best country ballads I've ever heard.
