And I am sure that does not include the downloads to ticketbuyers who received the full album after buying tickets. They also received an additional 2 links to give to friends to download.

No, it was 'Damn The Torpedoes' that hit #2 in 1980.
Refugee, Don't Do Me Like That, and Here Comes My Girl were the big hits off of that album.

The Waiting and A Woman in Love came off of his next album, Hard promises.

Mojo is a great album (and I'm not really a Petty fan).

+1 I've been a fan of Tom Petty ever since his first album. The concerts are great! I just can't get excited about the new album. I don't care for Petty's voice singing this material. I don't know, it just didn't work for me.

I gotta check this album out. Love this guy.

Someone told me just this morning that he was the voice of Boomhauer on King of the Hill... I never knew that! :?:

Really?!?! I've only heard a couple tracks that were posted here some time back, so
I cannot make an honest call, yet ...I did, really, like one of the two tracks posted ...
wish I could find that thread!! The reviews I've read have been pretty good thus far ...here's

Would you say this is a fair assessment?!?! ...

"There is one small downside to the Mojo approach. The motto that served The Heartbreakers so well for so many years yielded great hooks aplenty and some of the most memorable singles in FM radio history. This is a fantastic record on so many levels but it lacks the great singalong moments we’re so accustomed to on a Heartbreakers record, a sad casualty but a small price to pay for a record that is consistently and continually satisfying. Mojo is tough to place within the Heartbreaker discography. It stands apart from everything they’ve done which is an impressive achievement in and of itself for a band entering their fourth decade together. That they sound so damn good doing it- well, that’s not a surprise either."

No. He did have a recurring role as Luanne's husband, Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt on the show though.
