Pretty spot on. I had the same in the NFC with the Seahawks in the NFC Title game but had the Saints instead of San Fran and had NO VS Denver in the SB.

I had the Chiefs/Broncs in the AFC Title game. I would have picked the Colts last week VS the Chiefs but switched it because I stay true to my predictions as long as possible. I thought Seattle would win VS the Saints yesterday but went with the Saints because I had them in the SB.

I just saw a report by either Ed Bouchette or Gerry Dulac stating that the Steelers Linebackers coach Keith Butler, who is considered the heir apparent to Dick LeBeau as defensive coordinator, will not be leaving to become defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.

Butler was the leading candidate to join his friend and former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt in Tennessee, but the move was scuttled for undisclosed reasons.

Whisenhunt now has his sights set on hiring another former Steelers assistant, Ray Horton, as his defensive coordinator. Horton was defensive coordinator in Arizona when Whisenhunt was the Cardinals’ head coach.

Horton was defensive coordinator for Cleveland last season.

Do you think Butler will eventually take LeBeau's place as the DC in Pittsburgh???

Horton's garbage. He came to the Browns with a lot of fanfare and produced jackshit this year. Woulda rather had the Browns fire him than Chudzsinksi. His defense was a one-trick pony and faded when teams figured out his tricks. He wasted a lot of talent.

Butler has been on the fringe of leaving Pittsburgh multiple times in the past, but he's a prodigy of LeBeau and was pretty much promised the defensive coordinator gig once LeBeau hangs them up. Thing is, LeBeau continues to tick and Butler may be sick of waiting, though, this could and probably is LeBeau's last season in the NFL in '14.

Many Steelers fans have thought to let Butler go, allow LeBeau to retire on his own merits and then get somebody in here with a fresh perspective and new ideas to take this defense to the next level. LeBeau's defense works without a shadow of a doubt, but if the talent doesn't fit his scheme, you see major dropoff, which happened this season. The Steelers are big on continuity so we'll see where the LeBeau/Butler descision leaves us.

Ridiculous. Hell, that play wasn't even difficult to see. Thankfully, that play ended up having no impact on the game, as Seattle didn't score, as I thought they were going to. The NFL REALLY needs to do something about the AWFUL officiating.

By the way, I know it' early, but I like Denver in The Super Bowl. Seattle has no offense, and I would be stunned if they could even stay close to Denver. Broncos by two TD's!

How fucking awful was the officiating in both games? The play you mentioned John ended up having no impact, but what about the non-roughing the kicker call? That play would have given the Niners a first down instead of having to punt the ball back to the Seachickens where they drove down and scored. How could a Head Referee who's only fucking job is to either A. Watch the qb or B. watch the kicker or punter. You just can't get any more useless than that motherfucker. And in both games especially the NE vs Denver one, the Db's for Denver were fucking holding constantly and they weren't trying to hide it. They were going to make the officials THROW the flag or they were just going to keep doing it. Blatantly reaching out and grabbing their arm, pulling their jersey, fuck, throw the flag! I believe you should just chunk the rule book out the window for playoff games. Hell, don't even have officials on the field. Just let the players ref themselves like playground basketball. Fuck it, I'm done ranting about that but that was just pathetic. And did anyone see Richard Sherman after the game being interviewed? What a damn idiot. Made a fool of himself on national tv. Made you proud to be a Seachicken fan huh? Fuck me,lol!

Trashtalk is what happens when the league plays up division rivalry's... so people shouldn't be surprised... Sherman will be told to dial it back by the hawks mgmt and his fellow players leading up to the SB, because there's a good chance that if the Hawks can't get to Manning.. he'll pick apart the Hawks secondary...

Looking around, I can't believe it caused much of an uproar. First off, Erin Andrews should be FIRED for pulling aside Richard fucking Sherman. Seriously, Richard Sherman, with his reputation? Yeah, good pick to interview right off of a last second emotional play to go to the Super Bowl, idiot!

For the record, I'd take that scumbag piece of shit on my team anyday. Dudes a flat out NIGHTMARE.

Too many reports from last years playoff game about how Broncos fans were assholes for me to root for them. Sherman interview didn't bother me in the least. Hope the Hawks win.

I was tore up when Favre threw that interception in the 2009 NFC Championship Game and missed out on his best season ever. Legends deserve to go out on top and I hope Manning doesn't blow it. Seattle is a VERY stiff challenge. Regardless, this is going to be a GREAT Super Bowl. I'm okay with either winning the Lombardi.

Sherman criticized the Seahawks fans who took it upon themselves to shower 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman with food and garbage on his way off the field after suffering a gruesome knee injury in the fourth quarter of the game

This game is played in Jersey. no 12th man, they better hope its below zero or Manning
is going to blow them out. They are not the same team on the road.

I would hope that's a very small percentage of the fans. There is a picture out there of Bowman on the cart with popcorn around him. Idiots. I think most of the fan base is good.

How does a person afford to pay that much for tickets, but then be so low class that they throw food at one of the top players in the NFL? Odd.

This is about my take on it. If the weather is remotely good, Seattle simply doesn't have the offense to keep up with Manning. I don't care how good Seattle's defense is. Peyton is going to put up points if the weather isn't awful. The best the Seahawks can hope for is horrible weather. I can't imagine what dickbag Sherman will be like in the post game interview if Seattle actually pulls this one off.

It was determined that 3 of the fans that threw popcorn were Niner fans, and were throwing not at Bowman but at the Seattle staff who were telling the crowd to get back right before they went into the tunnel and who escorted the cart.

All things are getting blown out of proportion by Forty-Whiner fans. Crabtree talks his fair share of shit and loses. Sherman puts him in his place after the win, probably running on pure adreanaline, prior to having time to compose himself. It can happen to the best of them. That's not enough to take the entire team down and make me a Broncos fan. Some of ya need to grow the fuck up.

Calling it now for the Seahawks to win the superbowl.

The gameplan for Seattle will be the same as for Kaepernick.. pressure.. but the difference is Kaepernick is the equivalent of a 7 year old retard, compared to Manning when it comes to reads and play calling.

If the the Seattle D line can get to Manning, they can keep the score down... if they don't and he gets time to pass... Manning will put up 30 by the half and it will be hard for the Hawks to catchup..
