Hate making this racial but the only people saying anything remotely like that are in the African American community here in Baltimore. Most fans I know are glad he was cut.

When asked by a reporter why the Ravens hadn't seen the elevator footage sooner, Harbaugh replied, "I have no answer for that."
Harbaugh was reluctant to explain why the elevator video led to organizational action.

wonder why ...

"I don't know if I want to get into all the details about it," he said. "I think it's pretty obvious and pretty apparent. Everybody's seen the video, and we'll just leave it at that."

yeah.... just leave it at that...

Harbaugh looked like a deer in the headlights in that press conference. That was his usual Monday afternoon post practice conference. I am disappointed that ownership threw him under the bus like that.

Thats a fair point. ultimately its an ownership responsibility, not Harbaughs.

Quote from my 8 year old daughter tonight after I explained why Ray Rice isn't on the Ravens anymore.

"Daddy the one good thing is that since he got fired the other players will know he was bad and won't do that."

Was it just me or was that roughing the passer on the Ravens a bad call? Seemed clean to me.

So was about every other call that was made on the field. I hate this new league.. it's becoming a bore-fest. That Steelers/Ravens matchup was nowhere NEAR the rivalry that has built itself up to be one of the nastiest games played in the NFL. Fucking awful. I'm almost afraid how many personal foul penalties the Steelers defense will commit this season. Potential long year ahead.

Everytime I went against my gut in my Pick'EMS, I lost every single one of them. Maybe it'll be a trend for my Pick'EM season. I see we all picked the Steelers. Gag.

Yeah, NFL teams are really confusing me this year. I think I'll be setting a new low for a Pick'em score if I don't start paying more attention.

Horrible. The pussification of America at it's finest. "You can't hit me that hard", I'm the qb bullshit. I actually turned the game off after that. If you can't let football players PLAY football, the take the pads off and use flags. Fucking pathetic!

It was an outstanding football hit, but to leagues standards, he did lead the crown of the helmet to Ben's sternum. If you think that was bad, it actually got worse. I don't know, this league is quickly taking away what I had passion for in the first place.

The NFL is becoming a microcosm of what our society is by bending into political correctness. I'm anxiously awaiting the first Trans-Gender NFL star.

I'm also waiting for every team to get a Lombardi Trophy just for competing. We must teach our children it is ok to just try and we must make sure no one ever gets hurt.

A shame Goof-dell is on the verge of exit...

....

AFTER he already ruined the league we all loved. He should leave and take this game he developed with him.

Big win for them.

The amount of injuries today are astonishing. Lots of big time players went down.

Maybe they're going at this all wrong as far as overprotecting the players with rules and regulations. Athletes are just so strong and so fast now that they've surpassed what the human body can take for an impact. I wonder if there will come a time where a speed and strength limit will be necessary? At this point, unless the pads are made of kevlar or something that can absorb such hits, injuries are just going to become more common as athletes get stronger and faster. Look what happened to Bo Jackson way back? A freak of nature who blew out his hip just getting tackled because he was moving so fast. Now, just about every athlete is a Bo Jackson as far as speed goes. It doesn't surprise me there are so many injuries nowadays. I watched a clip on ESPN's Sports Science where some wide receivers would have a high chance of taring their ACLs on every attempt to slow down if they didn't get hit first. Food for thought.

Epic collapse by Kap and the Niners. Not a lot of confidence for this season. Now we are in a must-win against AZ next week. Damn.

collapse as far as penalties, the turnovers were just great plays. They tried to take advantage of a rookie c.b.
and paid a price for it.

Kap and RGIII, both pistol QBs in college have struggled in transitioning to the WC offense in the NFL...

The "Skins get a new system, and RGIII looks horrible in it, Cousins comes in and blossoms..

The 9ers dump Smith, who ran the 9ers WC just fine, for Kap (who had more "upside") and Kap still struggles, even with all that talent that surrounds him...

Interesting (or predictable)

Gonna be an interesting season..
