I finally saw Avengers: Endgame. I loved it. Fitting capper to the first decade of the MCU.

Yes, he is wrong. This was not a movie about Hawkeye, or Ronin. In fact "Ronin" was never even said in the movie. That was not the story. Yeah, they used the Ronin from the comics to influence how he reacted to the aftermath of the snap. But, that is all it was. Just as Cap went into therapy, Nat became a workaholic, Thor because depressed and fat, Iron Man put shirts in his closet and became a family man. And, they all helped each other get over it. You have more of a point about Hulk because he never really showed up.

It's just your usual thing about the movie not matching the comics...it doesn't have to, and it shouldn't. The movie was about the Avengers, not about Hawkeye/Ronin. If they want to do a Ronin movie, they can.

How can you have any puddin' if yew don't eat yer meat!

I doubt I would...As I have said, it's fiction...I do not believe time travel is possible.

Dark Phoenix opened with 550K over the weekend in Japan. Can't believe it has performed this poorly, but its promotion seemed reined-in.

LOL...they can do whatever they want with Thor...this really proves nothing. I have no issue at all with the direction that things are going.

Of course not. It's mindless entertainment. Like a Journey record. That's why they like people like you.

Like Journey, I do not have to like the direction they are taking. It is not a requirement. I have been very outspoken about my opinion of the direction Journey has taken since prior to Generations. They have made a series of bad decisions that I absolutely do not agree with. In fact, after Eclipse I said that Journey will never have such a release again...not like the Wal-Mart deal or Sony anyway...maybe Frontiers or something. But, the fact is that I can be a Journey fan and lay on critique of the band...and if I felt the MCU deserved, I would do that, too.

I like the decisions Marvel has made thus far. The comics can do whatever...and the MCU doesn't have to follow it, or can pick it up later. As I have said over and over....they are two different things and should be thought of that way. Fat Thor is with the Guardians right now...and maybe that can whip him into shape...looking forward to how that all works out.

Again, if you want to complain about something and have me agree...they are now wasting Hulk. I don't see how he even fits into the future movies at this point.

So, I was kinda "meh" about Disney+. Seeing a bunch of Marvel streaming series may be a selling point to many but I just wasn't pulled into that bandwagon. I can see how what they have done is good business though.

However, I've changed my mind.

It was announced that The Orville will be a Hulu series now. Disney owns Hulu. There is a packaged deal for Hulu and Disney+, and ESPN. Sounds like a good subscription to me...having The Orville only on Hulu pulls me into the bandwagon. Not sure what I'll do with Netflix...maybe cancel after I watch Dark Crystal and resubscribe when Stranger Things has their next run, and get caught up with other goings on. Just not sure....they are losing a lot of content.\
