Herm Edwards: "The Rams just set the NFL offense back 50 years off of last nights game." Too true. That was the worst display of offense I've probably ever seen. If Jared Goff can't get on the field, he must be THAT bad. Jeff Fisher continues to be one of the most bad-average coach's in all of football that is still beloved.

Good call FF! I literally almost fucked this up in the first Thursday Night game of the year, lmao! I'm so focused on my 2 Fantasy leagues. Sammy Watkins is really crampin' my style right now!

EDIT: Holy fucking hell, I only scored 6 points last week. Good gawd. If you guys can hear me up there, hello from the basement!

How much holding are the Stealers allowed to do? It's outta control.

The team is allowed a certain amount. Ben is allowed a lot more (off the field).

Hard to beat the Refs and the other team. Yes I'm whining. NFL has become BULLSHIT, missing 16 calls in that Jags game last week and totally ignoring the Stealers offensive holding at least 7 blatant times, and then not reversing the fumble at the end, clearly the Refs or the Leauge has favorites.

:D

Refs didn't reverse the fumble. It was called a fumble on the field and there just wasn't enough visual evidence for the refs to overturn it. There needs to be concrete evidence to overturn. The ball just couldn't be seen on replay when the knee hit. Got to go with the call on the field. Also, Ben had a couple crown of the helmets into his chest and there was a helmet to helmet shot the refs missed as well; 15 yarders to boot. Brown got mugged on multiple occasions. They clearly let them play, which means you got to man up elsewhere. Fact is, Cincy had piss poor red zone offense and was awful on 3rd downs conversions. Sorry, not sorry.

Eat a bag of dicks S2M  AFC EAST is laughable. AFC North games are always tough sledding. Ben was throwing to undrafted TE's today and still managed 3 TD's against a stout Cincy D. Pats win the AFC East by default. YAWN.

I saw the helmet to helmet on Ben and my Buddy and I couldn't believe we didn't get a flag. I felt we manned up fairly well but once you guys flipped the field it took us a while to flip it back and we really felt like your o-line was getting away with murder in there holding everything in sight. The one busted play I think Ben threw for 25 or 30 your guy had ours in a near choke hold from behind. Anyways, we'll try again later on. But the Refs suck. Period.

James Harrison has been getting choked his whole career with no calls. Nothing new with refs not calling that shit. Get over it!

It didn't change the outcome. Cincy's dline is tough. We couldn't run up the gut on them much and they got to Ben many times and that's not counting the amount of times they hurried him. Point is, that didn't change the outcome. The Bengals were awful on 3rd down conversions and the Steelers defense tightened up in the red zone almost every Bengals trip inside the 20. That was basically the difference. Not a holding call here or there.

Vikings claim #2 spot. Not sure if even during Bret Favre 2009 season they got that high. Probably have to go back the Missing Rings year of 1998 15-1 season.

Never thought I'd say this as quick as I initially thought I would, but the NFL has become a downright terrible product. It's actually shit from top to bottom. Never have I been so damn bored watching the games in my entire life. The amount of penalties thrown during the course of the game is mindbogglingly terrible and the pace of the game is at the worst its ever been. Mix that in with never ending commercial breaks and a replay system that monkey wrench's an already terrible paced product to begin with and suddenly the NFL feels less and less competitive (or less and less exciting for that matter, especially when refs don't know what a penalty or catch is nowadays.) Not sure if it's just me but the lack of stakes I feel during the games is troubling as a fan. It just doesn't feel the same whatsoever when it comes to being on the edge of your seat like past years.

Not sure what was funnier. The dildo or the look on Rex Ryan's baffled face as Brady stuck his dick in his ass once more.

As a Niners fan, watching would be tough this year under any circumstance. But even in our off years, I always followed other teams with interest. Always watched games all day Sunday, as well as Monday and often Thursday. This year, I have watched one full game, 3/4 of a different game, and that's it. Zero interest. For all the reasons you mention. It just does nothing for me.

Some of it started for me when the NFL would not let the cowboys wear patches for the fallen officers. America's team loses five cops in their own hometown, the whole city is mourning that and related events, and the NFL has to be a bunch of pricks. At that point, I was like fuck this. It's just a product. And if it's just a product, then fuck all those commercials and the other nonsense.
