Brian Johnson Guests On New Recording

Guess who's back? Exiled AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, who's hearing issues forced him off the road and out of the band in March, has returned to singing via a guest appearance on "Old Friends Don't Come Easy" -- a new track from Florida's Greg Billing Band, who Johnson has collaborated with many times over the years.

The song appears on the group's new album "Boom Boom All Night," which also features a guest shot from Cheap Trick's Robin Zander. Johnson's trademark vocals can be heard on the song's second verse and throughout the choruses.

Johnson, who was warned by doctors that he faced total hearing loss if he didn't come off the road, has been working with Colorado-based Asius Technologies reached out to help develop an in-ear device that would allow him to perform again; The device is nearing completion and testing according to the latest reports.

Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose filled in for Johnson during AC/DC tours of Europe and the U.S., but guitarist Angus Young has remained non-committal about the band's future in general, and specifically with either singer.
