PG&E seems to be the scapegoat right now. First they didn't turn off the power and are getting sued because of the fires. And when they turned the power off when the winds kicked up, they got sued because of lost food and revenue from businesses in the area of the power outage.

Ultimately everyone has to pay, right? A dirtbag starts a forest fire and they sue the individual. But that individual has no money so they can sue but won't get anything out of it. But blame it on PG&E and sue them, a huge payout will occur. But that payout is ultimately from PG&E's paying customers.

This is the trend I've been seeing lately around Cali. Like the Ghost Ship Warehouse fire a few years back. Can't sue the pissants who set it up and ran it cause they aint got shit for payback funds to the victims friends and families. But sue the city, land owner(s), etc. and they can get lots of money for the friends, family and lawyers. And again, that money ultimately comes from taxpayers.

The Cali environmentalists for decades have prevented the building of reservoirs to capture rainwater and runoff from snow. These environmentalists claim that building such water retainers ruins the "natural" environment for both plant and animal life. So it's been bone dry throughout Cali for a very long time. Cali population has grown and such population growth causes growth of water consumption. Another contributing factor is Cali hasn't been clearing out forests of fire fuel materials like it should have been doing.

That was not what I wrote. I am saying that someone like Kasich should quit the party and run as an independent. That would split the Republican vote and almost guarantee Pence would lose reelection.

If there has been a decrease in coverage, it's because the caravan has arrived at the US border faster than initially reported.

While Special Counsel Robert Mueller creates the “ongoing investigation shield” for all who would be questioned, the republican-led congress has been weak in delivering any actionable results through oversight.
