Not true. The economy under Clinton grew at a higher rate and was completely supported by corporate and public debt as this one is.

Lowest US unemployment rate ever (black, hispanic, asian, female, white aaaahhhhhhh etc. it's all the same, it's all good)

That depends on how you look at things. IMO, the reality is that it really has not changed THAT MUCH. The same type of complaints that were lobbed during the last election can be made today. That the number is off because of the large number of people who have simply given up looking for work.

And our deadshit PM is hated. Once again Murdoch media and a coal billionaire shaped the last election.

As for "everyone outside of the USA hating Trump", doesn't that suggest a greater awareness of Trumps buffoonery and bullshit by the international community?

First of all, I doubt VERY MUCH that Andrew believes the current prime minister is doing the right thing for the AUSTRALIAN people (they are not 'his').

Second, what exactly are you talking about? What specific policies are not in the best interest of Australian people?

Lastly, I find it interesting, and hypocritical, how Trump fans now believe it is a good thing to have our country belittled and mocked and disrespected by the rest of the world. There was a time under that last President where the very same people said it was a huge negative. We are respected less now than we ever were under Obama.

The current PM is a useless smug prick, installed by Murdoch media (as per usual) and who has completely alienated most of the country with his pathetic and embarrassing handling of the bushfire crisis.

And yes, the USA's ability to convince the rest of the world to follow you is now all but decimated.

Sadly, Australia's shithouse policies on climate change and rooting the coal industry and mining magnates, plus the interference of Murdoch/News Corp (Fox News to you Americans) is putting us all on a path to certain doom.

Interestingly - the current bushfire crisis here and in particular the Murdoch RWNJ press' coverage of it and the spreading of clearly false info (BULLSHIT) - is getting people all behind a belief that it has to change and his news outlets are pure bullshit.

People here are dying because of this shit...and perhaps one day soon, irresponsible or dangerous BS news media will be be able to be held to criminal account.

And why would we care? Aaahhhhhh, the world isn't following us. AAAAHHHHH. That's code for the free money train is slowing down. Again ringing the bell of dispair to people that own the bell tower. We don't GAF what the rest of the world thinks. The free $ train is running dry. You can call it world order, CO2 reduction, global warming disaster, etc. Just follow the money to the real answer. We're not subscribing.

And that is the exact attitude that will lead to disaster. Eventually. Not giving a fuck is tantamount to sticking your thumb up your ass and sitting in the corner while the building burns down around you.

And please, all RWNJs MUST stop stating the world is sucking on the American money train. It's JUST. NOT. TRUE.

I see you haven't been looking at the latest polls or the low Dem turnout in Iowa. I think it is fairly safe to say that Trump will win by an even larger margin this year.

This is just silly. First, the turnout was "on par with 2016"....and that was from EARLY COUNTS. Saying "low turnout" is not true...it is below inflated expectations, expecting 2008/Obama numbers. It's a CAUCUS - the people inventing these numbers should consider that. Considering the issues with the reporting of results and using early returns from MONDAY and make judgements based on that is unreliable and irresponsible - at the very least.

The polls show that more than 50% say the country is on the wrong path. More than 50% give Trump an unfavorable rating. Trump gained a bit in the polls that put him against individual Democrats but it has been virtually unchanged overall for weeks.

Predicting the election nine months from now and saying that Trump is going to win by an "even larger margin" is an exaggeration and simply shows your bias. He did NOT win by a large margin in 2016. He lost the popular vote and barely won in some of the toss up states. The Democrats have only been through ONE caucus. They haven't even chosen a nominee yet. Predicting Trump is going to win election by a large margin before you even know who he is running against is irresponsible.

It's not difficult. I'm not some magic person, but I am not stupid or blind. Anyway, we can check back in November. And yes, 2016 numbers are low for what they need. Maybe it gets better from here for them, we'll see, but they need bigger than 2016 if they want to beat an incumbent that has the economy hot, no big wars, etc.

Trump has his highest popularity with Gallup. He is more popular than Obama was at this point, etc. I'm not sure what signs you aren't seeing. Check out the independents view of the State of the Union speech. Check out the increased minority support, etc. Anyway, time will tell but it just seems massively obvious to me.

No, you are biased and presumptuous. There is no way to predict with any accuracy who is going to win the election in November. You don't even know who Trump is running against. In fact, it is too early to even predict that.

And yes, 2016 numbers are low for what they need. Maybe it gets better from here for them, we'll see, but they need bigger than 2016 if they want to beat an incumbent that has the economy hot, no big wars, etc.

It's a CAUCUS state. Did you even watch any of the coverage of what you have to do to caucus for a nominee? First you have to register for a party, you can not go as an independent. So, if somebody wants to stay as an independent, they can not go to a Democrats caucus. Second you have to take hours of your time that evening to dedicate to the process. You do NOT just go in and vote as in a primary or normal election. It does not surprise me AT ALL that the numbers did not change much...IF THAT IS EVEN TRUE. This point is being way over exaggerated by the press, and you.

Trump has his highest popularity with Gallup. He is more popular than Obama was at this point, etc.

You take ONE POLL and then derive all kinds of shit from it. Overall, it hasn't changed:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epoll ... -6179.html

Trump's popularity has been stuck between 40-45% for years now.

Check out the independents view of the State of the Union speech.

I don't care. It's just a speech.

Check out the increased minority support

Yeah, sure. Republicans have been putting out this propaganda for years. There just is not that significant of a shift, especially with blacks.
Anyway, time will tell but it just seems massively obvious to me.
Because that is what you want to happen. But, if you take a step back and look at things, it is NOT predictable.

I think at this same point in Obama's presidency, it was pretty clear he was going to win reelection no matter who the Republicans put up. I didn't like it. I hoped for the best, but it wasn't hard to figure out. And of course now we know we dodged a bullet.

I think there are many cases where it's a coin toss at this point. I don't think this is Reagan-Mondale - that will likely never occur again in our lifetimes - but it's definitely a wider margin than last time.

I'm only basing it on who is in the race now. We will have to see how Bloomberg progresses, but other than him I don't see a serious contender. And I really don't see him as all that serious of a threat either.

People that would rather have someone other than Trump, but like their 401k's and increased paychecks are going to sit at home this year. The Dems will definitely get the vote of all the really deep Trump haters and some others, but many will stay home.

I also will say that California's corrupt ballot harvesting bullshit and other fraud will likely keep the House out of the Republicans hands for the time being. Talk about corruption. I hear they are trying to introduce a bill there that if you register, you have to vote and if you don't, the attorney general can compel you to. That's just gross.

I'm just making a prediction. I think you are as bias or more than I am, so of course there is bias. But I think my analysis is fair.

I disagree. There was a lot of critique over Obamacare and some of how he handled the crash, bailing out the auto industry, for example. In addition, it was still a recovering economy and was critiqued for how slow the recovery was. He absolutely was vulnerable and there was no way to predict nine months ahead he would win the election.

I didn't like it. I hoped for the best, but it wasn't hard to figure out. And of course now we know we dodged a bullet.

If you mean that we dodged a bullet with Romney, I disagree with that, too. I don't think Romney would have been a disaster like W was.

I think there are many cases where it's a coin toss at this point. I don't think this is Reagan-Mondale - that will likely never occur again in our lifetimes - but it's definitely a wider margin than last time.

This is all complete speculation over something happening nine months from now.

Of course it is not like Reagan/Mondale...simply because Trump is not Ronald Reagan...and you have no idea who the Democrats will nominate.

I'm only basing it on who is in the race now. We will have to see how Bloomberg progresses, but other than him I don't see a serious contender. And I really don't see him as all that serious of a threat either.

Bloomberg skipping the early states is a huge mistake. Al Gore did this way back in 1992, relying on Super Tuesday...and he had no chance. This year could be different...Pete and Bernie could be the two front-runners coming out of NH but if Biden can come back in the next couple, then there is no clear front-runner and someone like Bloomberg could make a case...but it is very unlikely.

People that would rather have someone other than Trump, but like their 401k's and increased paychecks are going to sit at home this year.

Again, you don't know that. Stating these things as facts is just wrong...you are just guessing.

I also will say that California's corrupt ballot harvesting bullshit and other fraud will likely keep the House out of the Republicans hands for the time being.

"Ballot harvesting" is not "fraud". Perhaps Republicans should nominate people who can win instead of whining about the process.

I hear they are trying to introduce a bill there that if you register, you have to vote and if you don't, the attorney general can compel you to. That's just gross.

And, again, this is more propaganda. Even if such a thing became state law, it would be taken to court and cut down. It's just more fear mongering to stir up anger and hate.

I'm just making a prediction.

Correct. What I am saying is you are making a prediction over something that is unpredictable. It's like predicting what the weather will be two weeks from now. It just can't be done.

I think you are as bias or more than I am

But, I am not saying "Trump is going to lose in November".

so of course there is bias. But I think my analysis is fair.

As I pointed out in the polls and such, you can analyze things and make just as fair of a prediction that Trump is going to lose. But, the fact is that the election is so far away and you don't even know who he is running against, that any prediction says more about the person making the prediction than what is going to happen nine months from now.

We did nominate people that could win and on election night that had one. But then bullshit harvesting, which yes is fraud, overturned a number of our wins.

Election harvesting is simply absentee ballots being turned in to the polling place by someone other than the person who filled out the ballot. In CA, that is LEGAL. Therefore, it is NOT fraud. You may not like the law or the results of the election, but it is NOT election fraud.

Fraud would be people filling out the ballot by someone other than who was to be voting and then turning it in. Prove that this happened to a point where it would have overturned an election.

It was a rant, not a speech. Anybody who thinks he learned any type of lesson from being impeached is wrong.

Widely mocked here in AU. He’s just the most vile, clueless, narcissistic person I’ve ever had the misfortune to endure.

If trump is so bad and hated, imagine how bad these candidates have to be.

If you think Stone did anything remotely deserving 9 years, you are watching fake news. And you must feel so many others, like Comey, Hillary, etc. deserve 20 years.
