Went to see Iron Maiden back in June. Heck of a concert! Ghost opened for them. I'm impressed that this band plays so much new music live and the fans seem to eat it up. Now, certainly, fans got really excited hearing a classic tune, but it's great that they support their new stuff. So many bands release new music and then don't play any of it live. That's so disappointing.

I loved when Iron Maiden played A Matter of Life and Death live in its entirety for their tour behind it with a few classic at the end of the show.

Yes! I'd definitely go back and see them again. Man, it was a loud concert too! I have never worn ear protection at any concert, but I might need to start if I keep going to these concerts like Iron Maiden.

Thanks for checking out the article.

As for the loudness factor, I didn't find it to be so loud as to consider earplugs.

I always wear earplugs at concert. Prevents ringing ears the next day and makes the sound quality a lot better

At my age, I probably should start wearing earplugs. I just haven't. My ears were not ringing after the Iron Maiden show though.
