I'm almost out of toilet paper so maybe I'll buy it.

I was first introduced to a lot of bands in the 1970's via Rolling Stone. I would save up my lunch money for a few days and buy a copy if the cover looked interesting. If it didn't, I spent the money on powdered donuts and a coke - so much better than Jr High lunch.

I remember stories about Journey, VH, Heart, Bob Seger, Foreigner, Styx, Jefferson Starship, the Eagles... So many great, timeless musicians and bands. I picked up a copy several years later and thought it was tripe. Some good things never last.
