Dementia sucks. I watched both of my grandmothers die from Alzheimer's and now my dad is showing signs of it. It's really bizarre when they are here one moment and the next have no idea who you are.

Wow, I wasn't aware dementia could actually be fatal. That's interesting but horrible at the same time.
I can still remember the first time I heard an ACDC tune. It was Highway to Hell. I was 14 and had just started playing keys for a cover band in the Bay Area. The drummer had it playing on his car stereo and I was blown away by how different it was than everything I'd ever heard up to that point. I was hooked! I ended up seeing them live 6 or 7 times over the years and not a single one of their shows was a disappointment.

Just read that David Cassidy of Partridge Family fame has dementia as well. Apparently, he may not have long to live either.
