I was wondering if you might list some Rock vocalists that you consider to be among the best of all time?
Maybe 5 to 10, or even more if you want?
You don't have to put them in any particular order.

DH one of the most underrated singers of all time. He can still bring it. Doesn't get the respect he deserves I believe because of some of Hall and Oates more lightweight hits like Kiss On My List and Private Eyes.

I agree on Daryl Hall. I didn't realize Daryl's House went to TV. It was funny, yesterday at lunch, I was scanning the radio stations (Chicago radio is the worst in the country) and Hall & Oates "I Can't go for that" was on the black station...the real black station. I first thought, what rapper stole this for a new song, but I'll be damn they were playing Hall & Oates. Blue-eyed soul. I have their greatest hits and that is missing many songs. I wish I had saw them when they came around a few times the last few years.
I like the Richie Sambora mention as well. His first solo CD, Stranger In This Town is phenomenal. Blows Blaze of Glory away. Stranger in this Town may be a quiet 100% album. If not, it's real close - high 90's.

Ditto...
I'd call it my favourite Bon Jovi album, but some over-hormoned chick on Twitter tore me a new asshole for daring to lump it in with BJ!

I will put them in order....based on tonality, range, control and overall vibe! I have tried to emulate each one of these guys at one point....Phelps and Wiebe and Page the most, lately Daryl......There is a bit of all of them in what I do inheriantly...
David Phelps
Daryl Hall
Warren Wiebe
John Farnham
Richard Page
Lou Gramm
Richard Marx
Richie Sambora
Jimi Jamison
Joseph Williams
Each of these guys has influenced how I sing.....

This is why he is number 1 on my list.....
When I try to sing tunes others have sung it takes a few minutes to learn the correct voicings, timbres and where and when to throttle and back off....and the overall vibe....
It took me a month before I could replicate what David did on this....
This is the single greatest live performance (MAYBE John Farnham) I have ever heard...F%^$#$G Brilliant!!!!!
I literally wept when I first heard this....I swear to god....he is number 1 on my list...by a LONG way!!!
A very humble JV.....
