Steve Perry - Lost Angels (Speed Corrected) mp3

Postby JeremyP » Sat Nov 11, 2006 8:25 am

Hi everybody,

I don't who'll be interested in this, but I know most people love Steve Perry's unreleased song "Lost Angels" and it's always bugged me a little bit that the the song is pitched a bit high, like when you play a cassette tape fast and everyone sounds like chipmunks. lol

I thought'd I'd bring the speed back closer to it's intended (I assume) place and share it with everybody. I personally like listening to it more like this.

I'm glad you like it.

I have no clue why this remains unreleased, it's one of my favorite Steve Perry songs.

Would have fit perfectly on FTLOSM!

I used a program called Audacity that I normally use for mixing my band's songs when we record.

It's free and is verrry cool with lots of nice features.

And did I mention it's free? lol

You can download it here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Thanks again for your kind words, I'm still baffled that this song isn't officially released!!

I don't think I got this revamped version when first offered. Can you set up another active link?

Anyone else out there have it?

The original link still works - I just downloaded it :P
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Cool, thanks for the note. 2 years old, didn't think it'd be active. Just got it as well. Now to compare with the other.

Agreed on Audacity, I used that to correct another Perry demo once, and reverse the intro to MoL. Good to have and not that hard to figure out!

Thanks JeremyP....it does have an interesting new something to it on your revision. Things get passed around on the net so much, one never really know if what they end up with is what it was when it started out. I like both versions ..... THANKS AGAIN.

BTW....interesting link for that Audacity program. Now all I have to do is figure it out...lol.
