*RAISING HAND*

Worship the ground she walks on! She could release a cd of her singing the dictionary and I'd buy it. I've met her a couple of times and she is just the sweetest lady. That voice....OY, that of an angel. Stop by her fanclub website sometime. It will keep you updated!

May I make some suggestions? As far as her older rocker stuff, the greatest hits are good meters. But if you want to hear some grown up, moving musically forward Pat stuff, check out 1988's 'Wide Awake In Dreamland'(my personal favorite), 'Innamorata'(1997) and her latest 'GO'! (2003). If you are a blues fan of any kind, her blues album 'True Love' from 1991 is great. She has an amazing voice for the blues. She even redid BB's "Paying the Cost to Be Boss". OR since I can never made up my mind what I'm in the mood for by her, I usually have 'Synchronistic Wanderings' in my car. It's a three cd box set that came out in 1999. It's got most of the greatest hits, some rare demos and unreleased stuff, plus a narrated look inside the songs by Neil and Pat in a booklet.

:)

I read that Pat's 5 feet tall!!! How tall are you Angie? I'm 5'5 1/2", so I'm a lot taller than her too!

Who do you want to see? lol! I've been pretty lucky. I've got a "wall of fame" in my living room.

I'm about 5'7". You should see the original of this picture. Pat was actually in the middle. My program director is on the other side of her and he is 6' 5"! She looked like a speck between us! lol

Go rocks. Wide Awake is good.
Synchronistic is an incredible box set. I think if you get that you can skip Innamorata and Gravity's Rainbow as it captures the good songs from those.
The brand new Gr Hts is better than Best Shots, more comprehensive.

She's not my first choice, but it wouldn't surprise me if she paved the road for a lot of the harder-rocking women that I listen to today.

"Heartbreaker" is an awesome song to listen to on the road.

Here's another huge Pat fan.
Started listening to her when I was 13 , with Shadows of the Night, and bought all of her records.
Especially love Precious Time, I think that was her best, though I keep Inamorata in my heart because it was the soundtrack for me and my fiancee early moments together.
Go is another good record btw.
I had the opportunity to check out some youtube.com live videos of her current tour leg, I heard some songs were.... downtuned, but still sang with great power.

She was the one who started it all for me back in the 80's.
I listened to her records every day for years, still do sometimes.
A fantastic voice, a true goddess.
